"Wake up Rye!" I opened my eyes and gasped. In front of me was a woman with shoulder-length mousy-brown hair, green eyes, and olive skin. "Am I dead? Are you an angel?" She laughed a melodic laugh that made me want to melt into a puddle. "Your not dead," said another voice. That voice sounded very familiar. Then I saw Astra's face looming over me. "Where am I?" "Your in the hospital wing at our main base in Upstate New York," responded the woman with the mousy-brown hair. "Rye, this is Sophie. She'll be your trainer and help show you the ropes around here. From here on out, you'll live here, eat here, and train here. However, you will still have to work at The Daily Inquisitor." Astra was about to walk out when she paused, turned around, and said, "Welcome to Excalibur."
