Jenna's POV

"Zayn?" I say into the phone.

"Jenna! Wow! I can't believe you answered. It's great to hear your voice again, Boo." I laugh at his excitement.

"What's up, Boo?" I tried to keep my voice calm and steady despite my rapid heartbeat.

"Well we're in San Jose right now, and tomorrow night we have a show in Oakland...I hope you'll be there."

"I don't have tickets."

"As if any security is going to stop you, Jenna. Bring a friend if you'd like. But please come. I miss you. The boys miss you."

"I don't know Zayn...I'm sure he doesn't want to see me." I didn't have to say his name. Zayn knew exactly who I was talking about.

"He misses you. And he has something to tell you. If he doesn't, surely one of us boys will. Just be there."

I thought all night about whether I should go or not. The thought of having to face Harry scared the shit out of me. What if I see him and he completely ignores me? As if nothing ever happened? That would kill me.

But once I told my cousin Lexi about Zayns call she wouldn't let me ignore his wishes.

"What are you gonna wear?" I asked her as we were doing our makeup in my room.

"I brought some high-waist shorts and a tucked in rocker tee. That's how most girls dress for their concerts right?"

"Oh, dear. We aren't most girls. I hope you brought more than that."

Lexi stayed the night at my house as soon as she found out, being that she thought we should leave early.

"Well I only brought the one outfit..."

"Don't worry I have something you can wear."

Once the two of us finished getting ready, I pulled out one of my favorite dresses and handed it to Lexi. I don't really know how to explain it. It's like a hi-lo, but the low is on the left side rather than the back. Its a one strap dress, the only side holding it up being two straps over the right shoulder. It has a black top that stops just under the breasts, and then the bottom flowy part is a gorgeous blue. I figure this dress will match best with Lexi's deep blue eyes.

"Holy shit! That's gorgeous!" She was always quite the potty mouth. "What are you gonna wear?" I couldn't help the smirk that fell onto my mouth with her question. The second Zayn asked me to come I knew what I had to wear.

The two of us had light, natural makeup. I had a thin black line on the top of my eyelids, where as hers was on the bottom. She paired her lips with a nice pink lip gloss, where I went more daring and put on bright red lipstick. We both decided to leave our hair natural, my thick long curls nearing my belly button, and her wavy blonde hair meeting about the same length.

I slid on my red dress and let my hair fall naturally. I added my final touches before slipping on my favorite black flats, grabbing my golden-spiked black clutch, and filling it with my necessities. I reached into my closet and grabbed Lexi some black heels to wear with her dress, and she had brought her own black clutch. She began to protest the heels, but once she put on the dress, she realized I was right. Lexi is only a mere 5'4, so the dress touched the floor without the 5 inch heels.

"These are so tall! How do you wear them?!"

"I don't. My mom bought them and told me to find a guy tall enough that I could wear them with. But I'm not trying to be 6'4." We both laugh at the thought. "Come on, lets get going."

"How are we getting there?"

"My car..." It was a weird question.

"I haven't seen you drive it since you came back... I figured you refused to since Harry bought it."

Back in February, Harry bought me a white Dodge Charger for my birthday. I'd had my license for two years, but my parents couldn't afford a car, so he decided to do the honors. I love it to pieces, but it just hasn't felt right driving it since the breakup. It's under my name, and I know Harry will never take it from me, but I can't help but feel bad.

"Well we don't really have another way of getting there do we."

As I pull up to Oracle Arena, I feel like I'm about to hyperventilate. It's only 3, but the parking lot is ridiculously full. I've never gotten to see the chaos outside before a concert. I'm usually on the bus or in the dressing rooms. I pass all of the cars and head to the back gate. The parking lot is flooded with fans, but security has kept them out of the way of the gate for crew to get through. I pull up and roll my window down to see a familiar face.

"Hey, Mike!"

"Jenna! Didn't know you were comin today." He said as he leaned against my car.

"Yeah, I got a begging call from Zayn yesterday."

"I see." He laughed. "And who's your friend?"

"This is my cousin Lexi. If you could alert the rest of the crew that I have a plus one, that'd be great....just don't tell the boys. I wanna surprise them."

"Alrighty. I'll walkie the news and make sure they boys don't hear a thing."

"Thanks, Mike. Per chance, do you know where each boy is?"

I didn't wanna run into Harry just yet. Mike pulled out his walkie and chirped to the rest of the crew. "Location check on the boys."

"Zayn, Niall, and Louis are in dressing room one. Liam just went to the loo, and Harry went to work out about an hour ago."

"Roger." Mike said and dropped his walkie. "You get all that?"

"Sure did. Thanks again. Where do I pull in?"

"Just go right next to the bus. Should be fine." I nod and roll my window back up, heading inside and waving at the other guards as they pull open the gate.

"They're pretty fond of you here, huh? You seem to know everyone." Lexi said as we got out of the car.

"Well when you're stuck with someone every day for a whole month, you learn to love them."

"So everyone here does know you?"

"I guess." I laugh at her question. Her curiosity always gets the best of her.

We make our way down a long hall with white bricks for walls looking for the dressing rooms. If it weren't for the loud strum of the guitar and even louder singing, we may not have found the right one.

"So wake me up when it's all over! When I'm wiser and I'm older! All this time I was findin myself and I didn't know I was lost! So wake me u-"

I interrupt their singing and knock on the already open door. "I don't mean to bother you, but can you help me find the restrooms?"

"JENNA!" I laugh as the three boys in the dressing room lunge for me, nearly taking all of us down.

"It's so good to see you. You still smell the same." My laugh is so loud it echoes in the room.

"Such a creep, Louis." I said pulling him from my hair.

"Nice dress, Boo. Wherever did you get it?" Zayn wiggled his eyebrows at me.

"Oh just my bestfriend." He beamed my favorite smile at me, his tongue appearing behind his teeth as he laughed.

"Ooohh..Nates not gonna like that." Lexi spoke from behind me.

"Woah, who's this? Security! We've got a smokin' hot blonde who slipped through!" Niall called into the hall.

"Oh, shutup." I said pushing him. "Boys this is my cousin Lexi. Lexi...I believe you know their names right?" She nodded.

"Well...welcome. Just know that once you've stepped backstage, you're stuck with this life, my dear." Louis said.

"Don't scare the poor girl. And are you gonna keep us in the doorway? Or can we take a seat."

"Glad to see you're still yourself there, Jenski." The familiar nickname made me turn on my heels.

"Liam! Oh my gosh I missed you." I said pulling him into a hug.

"I missed you too, Love." His musical chuckle rang into my ears.

"Can I join the reunion?" My heart clenched at the posh accent that echoed the halls...Harry.
