He comes back down to see me during the night. I know its night because my window is completely black.
"Are you hungry?" He asks.
I answer. "Actually yes I am."
He brings me a plate of, could you believe it, chocolate chip cookies.
I'm still curious. "So when can you return me home?" His face becomes saddened.
"Tomorrow, mid morning."
I actually become a little heartbroken.
"Since I'm leaving, can you tell me your name or something about you?"He's reluctant but I insist.
"I have brown eyes, my favorite color is blue, and I can't stand onions. I go to the same school as you and play basketball and track. I have one sibling. And...." He pauses.
"You can tell me. Go on."
He take a deep breath as he closes his eyes and this goofy smile appears on his face. "And I really like you. Like a girly crush 'like'."
I smile again, but this time I feel the dimple under my eye form.
I ask. "Stay with me tonight.."
