ONE: Strange

"Ma'am, this is you're schedule for today, you have an appointment with Mr.Youn about our deal in Singapore at 10.30am, 2:00pm meeting with Mr.Valdez about building a new mall in Batangas and a dinner meeting with Mr.Del Castillo. "

Napatingin ako kay Jen, my secretary.

"Okay thanks, call Cassandra to report the sales last month, I need it this afternoon, and tell Mr.Fernandez to check the site in Pampanga if the mall is ready for the Grand Opening next month....."

"Yes, ma'am"

"oh Can you please make a cup of coffee for me later, Jen?"

"Got it ma'am"

"Thanks."

As the door close, napahilot ako sa sentido ko.

Tambak ako ng mga papers na dapat taposin, and I have three appointments to attend today.

I've been the CEO of our Company for almost a year after I graduated Cumlaude in Ateneo taking up Business Administration last last year. Pagkagraduate ko, trinane agad ako ni tito since my mom pass away when I was 3rd year college. madali akong natuto so after a year of training, ako na ang umupong CEO ng Company na naiwan ng pumanaw ko'ng ina.

I continue scanning the documents on my desk, then after how many minutes pumasok ulit si Jen sa office ko with a cup of coffee.

"Thank you, Jen."

Binaba ni jen ang coffee ko sa desk ko.

"Ma'am, may nagpadeliver po ng flowers sa inyo, just sign this para makaalis na po yong delivery boy."

nagtataka man ako pero pinirmahan ko na din ang delivery slip.

"Kanino daw galing?"

"Wala daw poNg pangalan nung nagpadeliver ma'am eh."

Then a bunch of red roses was entered by the delivery boy in my office.

"Jen, pakilagay nalang sa flower vase yan. Wala bang note jan na nakalagay?"

Jen scaned the roses...

"Wala po ma'am eh."

Strange, wala naman akung alam na nanliliGaw sakin.

In fact, if there is someone who confesses his feelings to me at nagbabalak manligaw, binabusteD ko agad. I don't have time for romance or entering a stupid relationship. Sakit lang sa ulo and idudulot nun, and besides, I'm a very busy person. Kahit na successful na ang business namin, I still have to work hard para mas maging umangat pa ang Companya at ayokong bumagsak ito dahil sa kapabayaan ko. I'm handling thousand of people. I need to be very responsible and hardworking hindi lang para sakin.

One of the thousand reasons why I don't consider my self entering a relationship is that, I grow up with a broken family, my dad is a jerk. He left us when I was in high school.

I'm afraid to be like mom someday. Miserable, alone, and broken hearted for the rest of her life...

I don't have time to think for the person who send me those roses. I have a lot of important things to do. So I just ignored it and continue reading and analyzing the papers on my desk.

I look at my watch and its already 9:30.

I still have one hour to prepare for my business appointment with Mr.Youn.

"Jen, tell Zed to prepare my car, I'm going to meet Mr.Youn alone. I'm giving him an off today."

Zed is my personal body guard, he's working for me since I graduated in Ateneo for security puposes. He's in his late fourties, nabanggit niya kasi kahapon na birthday ng anak niya ngayon so I'm giving him a chance to spend his time to his family.

"Okay ma'am"

Nandito na ako sa Zenvo ST1 ko, my favorite car and I'm on my way to an exclusive restaurant with Mr.Youn.

I was about to turn left when a car traps my way...

Napaapak agad ako sa preno.

Damn!, that was close ! Muntik nang mabangga ang Zenvo ST1 ko!

Bumaba ako sa kotse ko at tiningnan kung may damage ang sasakyan ko..

Thank God hindi nagasgasan.

Tumingin ako sa kotseng muntik ko nang makabangga.

It's a Lamborghini Reventon!! Sh*t!! Mas mahal pa kesa sa kotse ko..

But that's not the point! Kahit mas mahal pa ang sasakyan nia, muntik na akung madisgrasya..

At panu kung nabalian ako ng leeg!?

Lumapit ako sa driver's window at kinatok ito...

Biglang bumukas ang driver's door at lumabas ang isang naka business attire na lalake...

Napatulala ako sa nakita ko.

He's so handsome for pete's sake!!

Those grayish eyes, na nakakatunaw pag tinitigan mo...

His perfect nose and those red kissable lips that every girl would dream to kiss...

Perfect height and perfect body kahit na balot na balot ay bakat parin ang magandang katawan...

"Miss? Are you listening?"

Di ko namalayang napatulala na ako ng pagkatagal tagal at di ko napansin na kinakausap ako nang perfect na lalaking nasa harap ko. And his voice, ang sarap sa pandinig.

Wait.. Bakit ko ba pinupuri tong lalaking to?

God! Yung balak kung sitahin siya dahil muntik na niya akung mabangga nakalimutan ko dahil sa pagpapantasya ko!!!

Hindi pwede to.!

"What?"

"I said I'm in a hurry, I'll just pay for the interrupt, May meeting pa kasi akong dapat puntahan. I'm so sorry"

Nag iba ang mode ko at nainis ako sa sinabi niya.

Anung tingin niya sakin, POOR?!!!

I don't need his money because I have a lot of it! Damn him!

"Excuse me Mr.? I don't need you money.. Gusto lang kitang pagsabihan na nextime wag kang paharang harang sa daan at para alam mo, hindi lang ikaw ang nagmamadali dahil may appointment din ako sa kliyente ko... and because you interrupted me. Late na din ako sa appointment ko."

"I'm Dane by the way."

Inabot niya ang kamay niya para makipag kamay sakin but I ignored it because I'm so mad at him!!. May itsura pa naman pero may pagka gaspang ang ugali, well, looks can really be deceiving..

"Whatever, paki alis nalang ang nakaharang na kotse mo dahil wala na akong oras para makipag usap pa sayo."

Tumalikod na ako at akmang papasok na sa kotse ko ng magsalita siya.

"Sayang,maganda ka pa naman. Type na sana kita,pero ang sungit mo pala."

Tumingin ako sa kinaroroonan niya but he's in his car already and left me there without any word.

Nakakainis!! Pumasok na ako sa kotse ko at napatingin sa board clock ng car ko..

SH*T!!!! It's already Quarter to 11... Super late na ako.

Kasalanan to nang lalaking yun!!

Pinaharurot ko na ang kotse ko paalis dahil sigurado akong bagot na bagot na si Mr.Youn kakahintay sakin...

Oh God! this is a disaster.
