Chapter Two

On the next day, you wake up early as usual, take a warm bath and change into your uniform. As you brushed your hair and fixed it into a high ponytail and then into a braid, you glance at the phone. 

'Should I check on him..?' you place your hand on top of the phone, still in doubt '...I better not. He might still be angry'

You take your backpack with a change of clothes and go out of the room. You go down to the kitchen, make breakfast and leave everything ready for your parents, eating something light before heading out of your house and off to work.

On the way to the hospital, you greet the nice elderly people who were starting to open their business or simply cleaning the outside of their houses. You meet a few jounins and blush upon receiving teasing remarks on your outfit. 

"Leave her alone you bunch of perverts!" Fujitaka says, appearing at your side 

you smile up at your teacher "Thank you, Fujitaka-sensei" 

"No problem" he says, smiling "You really should change into your uniform at the hospital, it would avoid these perverts hitting on you" 

"I know, but it's easier for me to go with the uniform, it saves me time" 

he sighs "Oh well... If you say so. I'll walk you to work today" he offers you his arm

You chuckle at the fact that you had such a cheerful sensei and lace arms with him, going to the hospital. While walking with you, he explains that you wouldn't be having any training that day, so you could go home earlier. At the front door, he lets you go and says goodbye Kakashi style, soon disappearing in a cloud of smoke. You shake your head a little and go inside, being greeted by your co-workers and pacients.

The day went by like any other day at work. Some minor sutures, a few burnts, bruises. You were glad that nothing major had reached your hands, it meant that no one had gotten badly hurt.

By the time you came back from your lunch break, you make a round on your morning pacients, see if everyone was okay before heading to the reception, place where you had been assigned to spend the rest of the day. Since you were already there, you decide to take care of your reports and also a special case that Shizune and Tsunade gave you the day before. 

'Is this a lesson, Shishou..?' you think, sitting down in one of the chairs and reading the case report all over again. 'I think I know what happened to her...' a few irregularities on the charts got your attention, but before you could make any notes on it, you hear the front door opening and stand up "Konoha Hospital Center, how can I help you?" you say without noticing who it was, it was already a reflex to say that whenever someone came in 

"Suzuka-chan! We came to visit!" Hana says, grinning widely and holding Akamaru on her arms 

"Hana-san, Akamaru-chan" you say, smiling "Kiba-kun... How are you feeling?" 

"...I'm better..." he says, seemingly a little embarassed 

"I'm glad to hear it" you say, gently 

"Suzuka-chan" Shizune says, approaching the front desk "Oh, Inuzuka-san, Kiba-kun" she bows "Am I interupting?" 

"No, no" Hana says, waving away the concern "We're just here to see her" 

"Then I'll make myself quick" she turns back at you "Tsunade-sama wanted to know if you solved the case" 

"Well... I have a few ideas" you put the chart on the table to show her "At first, I thought it was hemophilia, since she had such massive bloodloss, but then after further analyzing her condition, I realized that it was actually ITP"
