I was watching Oprah when I heard those lines "If you have that feeling that's like - i dont know, follow your inner voice. It might not hurt to do the right thing."

Its been 2 years. I turned on the computer, checked for the latest promos for flights and destinations. I've been meaning to get a nice vacation to Bali after reading the novel Eat, Pray, Love but just didnt have the luxury off work. I guess I can find time to relax on my coming birthday. And a long one, for sure.

I saw this Piso fare promo from CebuPac. I quickly checked flight schedules to Bali, Japan and Singapore. Yes, those were my top destinations for my very first International travel alone. But wait, ALONE-- as in just me and no family. Pero syempre panget naman yung mag-isa lang akong magttravel, of course I have somebody to tag along with!

I ran through my contacts and texted my BFFs Kaye and Jane. "Cebupac piso fare. Up for a trip on my birthday? Textbak ASAP."

As soon as my message was sent, I got a reply back from Kaye. "Anywhere Sissy, basta may boys!" Napailing ako at natawa, si Kaye talaga, lalake nanaman ang nasa isip.

Jane replied 10 minutes later, "sure Sissy! exciting yun!"

"okay, this is it!" I logged in and pencil booked for 3 people.

Super excited ako kahit almost 6 months pa yung trip na yun. Minsan lang makalabas ng bongga eh di sulitin ko na. I kept browsing from one site to another, checking good hotel locations, tourist spots, nightlife spots-- my list seemed endless! Parang kulang ang isang linggo sa dami ng gusto kong gawin!

I was so engulfed with my browsing that I forgot its past 2 na pala and I haven't had lunch. I took a quick shower, got in a pair of jeans and tank top, and took a ride to MOA. Looks like a busy weekend-- entrance pa lang to the mall ang haba na ng pila! Im so damn hungry, Im in a rush to find a resto where i can order fast!

Making my way through the crowd, I saw a familiar face. I smiled the moment we crossed path.

"Hi! Kamusta?" i felt the warm greeting

I stepped closer to give a hug "Hello po! Im doing great.. Long time, no see.."

"you look good. buti naman nagkaka-laman ka na!" pabiro nya while looking at me from head to toe at pisil-pisil ang braso ko.

"thank you. nahihiyang lang po siguro sa trabaho" nailang kong sagot.

"mabuti naman. o sya, we better get going."pagpapaalam nya

"ok po. it was good to see you. ingat po" i waved goodbye as i walked to find a place to eat.

I almost forgot how hungry I was upon seeing Tita Rose. Its been years since I last saw her. THEM--- Tito Vince, Jec and...

"Viktor..." i muttered absent-mindedly.

My heart seemed to stopped as memories of Viktor flash before my mind. I didnt see that one coming. The day ended and there's only Viktor that I can think of.

I opened my profile in facebook. Nothing fancy to ogle about. Then again, a flash of yesterday's event just gave me an idea.

"How about a little research. I guess this wont hurt.." I smiled as i click on search your friends. i started typing J-e-c.... his profile appears on the list and i clicked on it. His profile flashed on my screen. I scanned his latest posts, nothing much. I looked defeated. I was about to close his profile when i felt like checking once more, but this time going back a couple months more. I saw a post with about 20 comments. I skimmed on the replies and there--- somebody actually asked how his brother was. thinking about it, he only got one. And that's no other than "...Viktor" I smiled as i recalled his name.
