I read this story in a book i have about bullying
So a guy was going home carrying all of his books. He was bullied at school and a gruop of kids came by and pushed him over along with all his books. A boy across the street came over and helped him up and picked up his books. This was the captain of the football team. Through out the years the two became friends and in their senior year the smart one was valedictorian. in his speech he told everone about that day when he was carying all his books. he said he had all his books becuase he was going to commit suicide. and he said that one act of kindness convinced him not to.
It just proves that if you do something even something as little as helping someone pick up their books you could save a life.
I just wanted to share that with you.
