*Friday*

Kaitlyn's p.o.v:

I woke up around 10am, checking my phone to see multiple texts and calls from Ashton, a few texts from Luke as well.

Ash💚: Kate I'm sorry

Ash💚: Please answer me

Ash💚: I miss you

Ash💚: why are you not at school baby?

Ash💚: I'm so sorry baby.

Long legs: good morning sunshine 💩

Long legs: ☀️* wtf

I chuckle at Luke's texts and ignore Ashton's. I'm just going to relax today and hang out with G. I let out a deep sigh and got out of bed, heading to the bathroom to have a quick shower.

I let the warm water massage my muscles, helping me relax. Hopefully today was going to be stress-free. I massaged the shampoo into my hair, rinsing it out quickly.

When I got out, I dried off and put on some casual clothes. A black tank top with red flannel and black knee high jean shorts. I then brushed the annoying knots out of my hair, letting it dry naturally.

It felt like one of those days where I felt a bit more lazy than usual so I skipped the make up. I checked my phone and got a text from G two minutes ago.

Mysterious man: On my way :)

I smile and tuck my phone in my pocket, grabbing my purse and going out the front door to wait outside. This morning I pretended I was sick so my mother let me stay home. Luckily she had work today so I didn't have to do too much sneaking around.

I sat on my front steps feeling the warm heat of the sun. I heard a horn beep and I see G wave at me through his window. I skipped off the steps and ran over to his black car getting in swiftly.

"Hey." I greeted, smiling.

"Hola Kaitlyn." He grinned, shifting the gear into drive.

"Where are we going today?"

"Wherever you want to."

"Ooh, can we go to Dairy Queen? I've been craving ice cream." I laugh.

"Sure thing."

I sit back and listen to the radio with my window down, G and I were singing along to so many different songs. I admired the nice day outside and I tried ignoring my phone that kept vibrating in my pocket. No doubt Ashton was still trying to reach me.

When we arrived at Dairy Queen, G went through the drive thru and we were going to have a picnic. We both ordered a cheeseburger and fry with a small blizzard.

"Here G, I have cash." I say digging in my purse.

"It's okay, I'll use my debit card." He insists.

"G," I whine, "at least take 5 dollars."

"I don't want your money." He laughs, handing me my meal.
