She stood next to him staring forward in the same directon as him, looking at the lonely coffee shop that stood opposite and in between a continuous line of houses. The coffee shop that Varvara would often visit to get her morning drink.

The sky was still a dull grey colour but the hail had stopped after her walk up the stairs to stand by Loki.

Loki stood perfectly still with a suspicious and rather worrying smirk on his face with little, if any, wrinkles being created. His whole face and body were completely relaxed and emotionless whereas Varvara who stood next to him was heavily breathing but trying to calm it down by taking a number of gulps with only seconds apart from each other.

He stood with the his scepter (which he was the same height of) infront of him, gripped by both his hands and shining bright blue. He was wearing thick black leather jacket over his black leather top also with black trousers underneath leading underneath his black thick soled boots. On his black top he wore golden armour everywhere but especially making 'V' shapes on his torso. His green long sleeves lead down to his wrist but had golden plates up to his elbow and he had stuck to his signature style of the slicked jet black hair although he did had a few strands out of place and actually falling down the side of his face instead of back.

"Why now?" her sweet voice asked gently reassuring him not to snap back at her

"It was bound to happen one day" was the first thing he said to her with his deep voice after many years, smirking "I thought you all of people would of known that."

To hear his voice again made Varvara feel all that more comfortable around him again like she was use to. It made her happy just to have seen him in the first place.

"On my birthday?" she asked him, flicking her eyes up to her side to see him out the corner of her eye as he turned his whole body to face her and look her deep in the eyes as she removed the scarf off her head.

"How old are you today?" he grinned at her, modelling his perfect teeth to her

Varvara's head fell down to look at the floor as she smiled almost breaking out into a laugh before slowly tilting her head up to look at him in his eyes. They were sparkling a beautiful blue colour, the colour she had had only knowing him to have but with a glisten this time. His grin smoothed down to a more friendly smile now as they both stood smiling at each other.

"Why?" he asked her very simply.

Varvara felt all her adrenaline run thought her body as they continued to stare into each others eyes for a while longer, flicking her vision from one of his eyes to the other.

"I like it here"

"You like it here," he paused "But Var..."

"Yes" she quickly interrupted him "I like it here. Infact, I'm at peace here" her voice began to raise trying to prove her point even more to him before completely breaking eye contact with him and walking off to behind her and making her way away from him.

Loki raced after her by gripping her wrist and instantly banging the Scepter on the floor as quick as possible making both of them disappearing into thin air as if they were never there in the first place, or ever.
