Chapter Six

"I always thought you couldn't date mortals from, like, Earth?" Tony asked Thor as they sat opposite each other on the sofas in the middle of the centre whilst dipping his biscuit in his coffee and then pulling it out only to lose half of the biscuit as it fell straight back in the cup creating a small splash. Thor laughed with squinted eyes as he watched the strange man fiddle with the biscuit.

"It's 6:30 in the morning and he's already thick? I thought he just got tired throughout the day and gave up" Natasha said as she turned her head form looking at Tony to look at Nick, Clint, Bruce and Steve.

"That's Tony for you" Steve said "Any way, what's new on the Loki situation?"

"We have nothing new in that situation which means he's probably out hiding somewhere. We have to be prepared for anything" Nick spoke suddenly stopping and turning his head to Tony and Thor who were having a good giggling seshion as he began to listen in their conversation.

"I can't believe she just ran off" Tony laughed

"I never knew she had it in her" Thor replied

"Running really fast or Loki's scepter, if you know what I mean" Tony burst out laughing at his own pun which only made Thor smile a little as he didn't understand what Tony was talking out. 'That sounds painful' he thought to himself.

"Is there something you're not telling us Mr Stark?" Nick boldly questionned

"About what?"

"About this super speed running"

"Oh, Tori?"

"Who on Earth is Tori?" Natasha questionned

"She was present last night with me, Thor and Loki"

"Why didn't you mention this last night?" Steve spoke as he walked closer to Tony to look down on him more

"Well, pal, I sort of didn't have the chance when you were all ganging up against me did I?"

"Well why don't you tell us now? Come on, speak up"

"He hasn't taken his morning medication, sorry" Tony said to Thor in a joking way before standing up infront of the group

"As I landed next to my friend here I just about saw this black haired woman staring up at me and then making a run for it, and boy was she fast, wasn't she?" he turned to Thor

"Yeah"

"Do you know her Thor?" Nick asked

"I do not"

"She's called Tori" Tony interrupted, walking over to his screen and turning it around to show the rest of them "...and that's her right there."

Steve, Bruce and Nick all wondered over to the screen as Natasha and Clint ignored everything Tony said and continued working on trying to find a match of where Loki was hiding by now tapping into security cameras around the world.

"Black hair, blue eyes, just like Loki" Bruce pointed out

"Blue eyes?" Steve gently questionned "I thought they were grey"

"Oh, they do have a little grey tint don't they"

"Yeah, they seem to be blue, grey and green"

"Gentlemen" Nick stopped the debate and looked at them both before putting his hand on Steves right shoulder which was the closest to him "your up."
