A Fishy Guest (Percy)

A/N: Aloha! So this is another AU!!! It's a bit shorter than the rest...whatever. So, you work at an aquarium in this one...yaaaay!!! Anyways, enjoy!

~Percy's "innocent" little sister

(Y/N) POV

I smile at the stupid stranger that was trying to flirt with me.

"Okay, you are gorgeous. You would be the sea unicorns. They are soooo amazing," the guy said. I didn't even know what he was talking about. I just gave another fake smile.

"You mean narwhals," I said through clenched teeth, still smiling. The man just shrugged and walked away...finally. I mean, I love my job and all, but there was only one thing I hated about it. The males.

I hated it. They would all crowd around me and ask me stupid questions and try to flirt with me. Like gods! Mind your own business! I'm only here to look after the animals!

I sigh as I prepared to give people a close up of the fishes. I straightened my navy shirt and fixed my mic. I smiled and pushed the door open.

"Welcome! I'm (y/n) (l/n)!" I give them the best smile I could. I looked at the crowd. I saw all the guys look at me and my eyebrows twitched. Only one wasn't. He had nice raven hair. His sea-green eyes were glued to the fish swimming in the tank. I smile a little.

I turn my attention back to my usual presentation. I motion for the large group go follow me.

"Come on! Let's take a closer look," I smiled.

(LE time swiiiiiim to after the tour!)

"Hey," I said, nervously. The handsome man with raven hair was still here. He looked away from the fish and smile at me.

"Hey! Sorry, I'll leave," he said kind of sadly. I felt bad.

"You can stay...besides...it would be nice to have some company," I mumble the last part. Thank gods he didn't here that. He just smiles and nods.

I left him there and I started cleaning. Soon enough, we had started a conversation.

"Really? I really like those too!" I say enthusiastically, while mopping the floor. He pumped his fist on the air.

"Yeah! Hey, I never told you my name," he said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. I just chuckled.

"I'm Per—," he held out a hand. I gladly took it, but then something tripped me and I went tumbling into the gigantic tank. I screamed as I tried to get more air, but I couldn't swim so I was sinking...fast.

I held my breath and closed my eyes. I heard a splash and I saw a blurry figure come swimming towards me. He swam closer and closer, but darkness took over.

...some time later...

I gasped and coughed. Water came spilling out through my mouth. I felt a warm hand pat my back. I coughed some more. I looked up to see a mop of wet raven hair. He handed me a water bottle and I drank from it.

"Uh...thanks," I sigh weakly. The guy just smiled.

"I was worried. Sorry...I kinda made you trip," he sighs. I shook my head.

"No, I wasn't looking at where I was going," I sneezed and shivered.

"But I made you shake hands with me and the floor was slippery," he said frowning. I just shrugged and shivered some more. The man slipped out of his jacket and placed it on my shoulders. I looked up at him.

"This is yours, it's going to get wet," I began to take it off but he stopped me.

"It's fine, besides, you need it more than me. I can always get another jacket!" He said, cheerfully. I blushed a little.

"Well...thanks then," I smile. He held out his hand and I took it. He helped me up. He turned around to leave, but I grabbed his wrist. He turned around and blushed a little.

"U-uh...I-I never got your name..." I stuttered.

"I'm Percy Jackson," he said, smiling. I grinned and nodded.

"Feel better okay? See you soon!" With that, he left and I just stood there, smiling to myself. He was different. He actually cared. I sighed and blushed. I tugged at his jacket and wrapped myself tighter into it.

I grabbed my things and headed towards my car. I sat in my car blushing.

He was one fishy guest.
