(Y/N) POV

I walk into Doughy Delights, the bakery I work at, and sniff the sweet smell of bread. I have been working here for five years. I mostly design the cakes because my boss claims that I have artistic skills that would make people smile.

"Good morning, Ms. Demeter," I greet my boss and she smiles.

"It's time to open," she says flipping the sign, "Can you go into the kitchen and make a flour delivery for me?"

"Sure, where to?" I ask.

"Uh...to the Half-Blood Palace. They said they needed more flour for their party," Demeter nods. I gasp and my eyes widen.

"T-to the palace?" I ask surprised. I finally get to go to the palace! It's been my dream to go there!

"Yeah," Demeter smiles.

"Alright! Let's do this thing!" I pump my fist excitedly and Demeter laughs walking away.

(LE time skip brought to you byyyyy Prince Nico! Nico: -_-')

I drag the last bag of flour into the trunk of the bakery truck. I grin as I pop my head into the kitchen. I wave to Demeter.

"I'm off now," I say happily.

"Okay! Good luck!" Demeter waves back. With that, I drive down the road towards the palace.

As o drive, I think of the palace. I wonder what kind of party they're having. I wonder to myself. It could be a formal dance party, or a casual dance party, or a coronation party...who knew. I shrug and continue driving.

(LE time skippy...brought to you by Skippy peanut butter!!!)

I reach the palace and I parked in the back. I climb out of the delivery truck and look up. I gasp. The palace is huge and it looks like it is glowing. Someone put their hand on my shoulder.

"You must be miss..."

"(Y/n) (l/n)," I turn around.

"You are here to deliver the flour?" The man confirmed. I nod.

"Of course, please follow me," he said, hoisting four bags of flour, two on each arm. I grab two bags of flour and follow him into the palace kitchen.

The kitchen was huge and was very spacey. They had all the newest gadgets. To be honest, I feel sort of jealous. Once I finish loading the flour into the kitchen, one of the bakers grabs my arm.

"Miss (l/n), would you please help us bake the main cake? We're running out of time and I heard you are pretty good."

Surprised, I nod and I grab an apron and the man hands me the cake design. It was a five layer cake. Each layer has a different design on it. The very bottom layer is sky blue that faded to a lighter blue. It consists of frosting clouds and lightning bolts. The one above it was a darker blue. It was more green too, like the ocean. It has little bubbles and sea creatures on it. I look up to the baker. He smiles at me.

"Take your time to study it but please don't take too long."

"Okay," I say.

I continue studying the cake. The third layer is all black and has little skeletons on the rim of the cake with chains connecting them. This one is simple yet beautiful...

The fourth layer was scarlet red that faded into a light pink color. On it was adorable little critters. The layer on the top was orange on the bottom that faded into a bright red color. There were flame designs all over it.

I set the design down, wash my hands and begin to work. Once I was done with the main cake, I was asked to bake more cakes. I agreed since I really enjoy designing and baking.

(LE time skip to when your finished baking)

I take off the apron, reluctant to leave. Then, a female baker came up to me.

"Please do stay and enjoy the party, Miss (l/n). As a thanks to you helping, we have prepared a dress for you."

I beam up at her. She smiles back and leads me to a private room.

"Oh my gods! Thank you so much!" I squeal. She chuckles, "No, thank you."

She left me to myself as I change into the dress. It was an elegant soft yellow ball gown. It looks exactly like Belle's gown from The Beauty and the Beast. I giggle and twirl around. They have prepared heels to match with the dress, but I preferred my worn out sneakers. Thank the gods that the dress covers my feet. I fix my hair into a half up half down hairdo.

I made my way out to the ballroom. It was so crowded but o eventually made my way to the front.

"Everyone! Please quiet down for a moment," the announcer says into the microphone. Everyone immediately quiets down.

"May I present to you, the princes of Half-Blood!" I gasp along with everyone.

"Prince Percy Jackson of the Sea!" As soon as the announcer said that, a gorgeous black haired man walked down the left stairs and stopped right at the edge. He smiles charmingly and waves.

"Prince Jason Grace of the Sky!" Walking down the right stairs was a blond man with sky blue eyes. He gave everyone a nod.

"Prince Frank Zhang of the Battle Field!" An Asian man walked down the left stairs and stood to the right of Prince Percy. He seems to be a bit more shy than the others.

"Prince Leo Valdez of the Fire Nation (gasp! It's Zuko!!!)!" A curly haired Latino skipped down the right stairs grinning like crazy. The crowed laughed as he tripped down the stairs. He landed right where he should be, to the left of Prince Jason.

"Finally, last but not least, the youngest prince, Prince Nico DiAngelo of the Underworld!" The most beautiful boy walked down the middle stairs. He was pale and skinny but I was sure he could take down anyone. His raven hair was swept to the side. I couldn't help but to swoon. He stopped right in the middle. I continued to stare at him. We made eye contact and I gasp but he remained emotionless.

"Tonight, Prince Nico will be searching for his future wife. Good luck to you all!" That snapped me out of my trance. There was no way he would choose me though. I was just a simple baker. Knowing I have no chance at all, I walk to the food tables. I saw the cake I had made. It was my master piece.

All of a sudden, I feel a cold hand on my wrist. I zip right around. I gasp. It was Prince Nico.

"Y-your highness!" I did a little curtsy. He chuckled and guided me towards the dance floor. He gently rested a hand on my waist and his other hand grabbing mine. I put my other hand on his shoulder. Thank gods I know how to dance. I sigh to myself. When I was younger, I had alway wanted to be a princess so I would waltz around our house. I smile at the memory.

"So..." Prince Nico started,"What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm (y/n) (l/n)," I say shyly.

"That's a beautiful name," he whispers to me. I muttered a thanks, blushing beet red. We danced and talked all night and I didn't want it to end. Prince Nico dragged me into a room.

"Where are we?" I ask. The room was dark and the curtains were closed but a bit of the moonlight still shone through. Prince Nico shoved me against the wall and I gasp. I looked into his eyes. They were filled with love and passion. I'm sure my (e/c) eyes were like that too.

"(Y/n), please, I love you," he whispered into my ear. His warm breath tickled my face. I gasp.

"Your highness...I-I..." He cut me off.

"Please be my princess," he said seriously. I know I shouldn't but I grabbed his collar and smashed my lips onto his. He kissed back. Thanks to a stupid thing called air, we broke the kiss.

"I'll take that as a yes," he smirked at me. I blushed and I kissed him again. Tonight, I have been made a princess.
