Jin-Ah's POV

Three years. It'd been three years since that fateful day where I had essentially ripped apart the best relationship of my entire life. But, it was for the better. I did that so that he could be happy without a burden like myself on his shoulders.

My first month in the States had been terrible. I had just lost the person I loved the most and I knew no one. I would mostly sit in my apartment and cry for hours on end, wondering how I could've been so heartless. And then I would remember the reason I left in the first place.

It was a huge cycle and then, I met Young-Shik. He was humorous, out-going, and I soon felt myself falling for him. We had been friends for about a month when I decided to take things to the next level. Now, three years later and we couldn't have been happier.

We were returning to Korea because of a modeling contract I was offered during the first year of my studying in the States. Young Shik and I would be living together, which each of us worked every day. Me as a model, and him as an actor.

It was amazing that I had found happiness in just the short months of being in America. I just hoped Sehun was happier without me also.

"So, how do you like it?" Young Shik asked, wrapping his arms around me from behind as I looked out over our view of Seoul. I smiled, leaning back into his firm chest.

"It's beautiful, oppa. Jinja." I said and he laid his chin on my shoulder. Young Shik and I were often corny like this. Constantly touching, hugging, and kissing one another. He was really sweet and I truly loved him with all my heart.

"Jagiya, you know I love you, right?" He inquired and I nodded, turning around and placing a sweet kiss on his lips.

"I know. Nado saranghae." I said and he sighed with content, resting his forehead against mine. We stayed like that for a few moments, before Young Shik released me and trailed into the kitchen to make breakfast. I would be eating and then leaving because today was my official first day at Atler Modeling Agency. We would be going over the contract and talking about some other business stuff.

I leaned against the kitchen island and watch Young Shik happily as he cooked, smiling like the idiot that he was. "Oppa?" He hummed as a response. "Saranghae." I said and he turned smiling softly at my words.

"Saranghae, jagiya." He said, before continuing to cook. I went into the bedroom and took a quick shower, before getting . By the time I had blow-dried and , Young Shik was calling me for breakfast.

I hurriedly ran to the table and sat down in a flash, not being able to wait before digging in. Young Shik's food was always delicious. "Woah, slow down there." He said, chuckled as he sat across from me. I smiled slightly, still continuing to eat his food at a rapid pace.

I finished in no time, putting my plate in the sink, before walking over and embracing Young Shik from behind. "I have to go, oppa. I'll see you later." I said, before he turned, capturing my lips in a kiss.

"Bye, jagiya." He said. I grabbed my bag and pulled on my shoes, before making my way out of the apartment building. We lived on the second floor so it was easier for me to leave faster. Living on the twelfth floor had been such a bother. Having to take the elevator and whatnot.

I hailed a cab and told the driver the address. I sat back as the trees went by, smiling as I thought about Young Shik. Ever since meeting him, I'd been happier and my depression was almost invisible. It was amazing what love could do to you.

Ten minutes later, I'd arrived at the modeling agency. Paying the man, I stepped out of the vehicle and entered the building. I checked in with the front desk lady and she quickly ushered me to the director's office.
