Chapter Eighteen: Lets start fresh

Nana Pov

I woke up and my head was on Prince's lap.
He was watching tv.

Prince: Good morning beautiful finally awake.

Nana: Hey babe goodmorning.
I stretched and walked towards the stair way.

Prince: Hey where you goin no goodmorning kiss.
I smiled.

Nana: After I showered and brushed my teeth.

Prince: Well I gotta shower too.
So can I you know.

Nana: Join me.

Prince: You took the words right out my mouth.

Nana: Yeah well put them back in because I shower alone.
The only person who has seen me naked in the shower is my mom when she used to shower me when I was younger.
And I couldnt shower by myself.
The thought of my mom made me cry.
I didnt even notice until Prince came and hugged me tightly and wiped my tears.
I looked up at him and I cried hard in his chest.

Nana: I cant believe she is dead.
I said in tears.
I started to fall to the floor.
He went down with me and wouldnt let me go.
He put his back against the wall and I sat in between his legs and he wrapped his arms around me.

Prince: It is ok.
She is in a better place.

Nana: If she is dead why cant I be dead to.
He let me go and turned turned me facing towards him.

Prince: Babe dont talk like that you promised me you would never go there.

A tear fell down his cheek.

Nana: I dont know what to say.
Its my fault she's dead.

I ran upstairs and locked the bathroom door.
I stared in the mirror and said to myself.
"Stupid bitch it's my fault."
I opened the mirror and I grabbed some soap and drew my bath.
I took my clothes off and I sat in the tub.
I tried to relax but I couldnt.
I saw a blade on the counter top and I grabbed it.
I cut the words my fault on my wrist.
At first it hurt then my arm went numb.
Pretty soon my whole body.
Then...............I saw black.

Prince Pov

I gotta go check on my bae.
She seemed really upset.
I walked up stairs and knocked on the door.

Prince: Nana?
No answer.
I knocked again.
Look nana I know you wanna be alone but I need you to talk to me I cant lose you.
Nana please open the door.
I tried twisting the door knob but it was locked.
The door was locked and she wasnt answering me.
Oh Shit.
I kicked the door open.
Only to find her laying in a pool of blood and the words my fault cut into her wrist.
I started balling I ran downstairs and woke the boys.
We all hurried upstairs.
Roc helped me get her out the bathroom.
I put a towel around her wrist attempting to stop the bleeding then I put clothes on her.
We put her in the car and drove to the hospital.
We got there.

Doctor: What is the emergency?!

Prince: Help um my girlfriend she tried to commit suicide she cut herself
Help her please.

Doctor: Ok put her on the gurney then check her pulse.
They did as he said.

Nurse: Her pulse is slowing down.
She needs the quickest attention.
Where should we take her?!

Doctor: Um the suicide facility.
Bandage those cuts and check how much blood she lost

Then ran away with her on the bed.
I tried to follow but a nurse held me back.

I fell to my knees crying so hard.

If she lost so much blood that she died.
I am gonna go to the top of this hospital and jump off.

~ 1 hour later ~

The doctor came back and he said.

Doctor: Ok she is stable.
She lost 3 1/2 pints of blood.
If she didnt get here quicker she possibly could have bled out.
That is alot of blood lost.

Prince: Skip all that shit is she ok.

Doctor: Yes but we noticed the cuts on her wrist spelt the words my fault.
She was emotionally depressed.
Do any of you know what made her this upset.
We shook our heads no even though we knew everything.

Prince: So where can we see her.

Doctor: Down the hall take a left then its the first door you see on your right side.
Room 208.

Prince: Ight thank you So much doc.

Doctor: No problem its what I do.
We smiled at eachother then me and the guys ran to Nakeatah's room.
We saw her there on the bed.
She looked so lifeless and pale.
I gently laid a kiss upon her forehead.
I sat down and so did the boys and I began to cry softly.
I felt a hand run through my afro.
My baby was awake she woke up.
I slowly lifted my head and she was looking at me and smiling.

Nana: I am ok babe.

I kissed her we just made out for a good 5 to 10 minutes.
I was so happy.

Roc: Damn niggas dont swallow eachother.
We stopped and looked at him.

Prince: Babe why?
You said you would never go there.
Why didnt you talk to me?

Nana: I thought you wouldn't understand.
I thought I was alone.

Nana: what would I do without you?

She smiled and hugged me.
Then a nurse walked in.

Nurse: Ok you all are free to leave.
Keep an eye on her make sure she drinks only water for the next week and gets alot of sleep.
That was a close call missy.
She walked out the room.

Nana: Damn that lady sounded like my mom.
"That was a close call missy."
She said in a mocking tone.
We laughed and she stood up.
We helped her to the car and drove off.
We finally got home.
I carried her inside and I brought her upstairs to her room.
She fell asleep so I put her on her bed and tucked her in.

Nana: Thanks baby.
I turned around and kissed her.
Oh my gosh I wanna fuck her so bad but Imma let her get her energy first.
