Chapter Twenty-six: Johnny's Party

Today is my sons 4th birthday.
Im not gonna lie I am scared as fuck.
What if he hates me for missing 3 years of his life.
Thats my baby boy but I just wasnt ready to take care of a child.
Just thinking about him and the situation made me cry I feel like a pussy runnin away and abandoning my kid.
Tears fell down my face and I put my head in my hands.
Nana walked in and sat next to me.

Nana: Babe are you ok?

Me: I just want my baby boy to love me the way I love him.
I dont want him to hate me I love him.
I missed 3 years of his life.

Nana: If you are this stressed we can stay home.

Me: No I wanna go I have to see my baby boy I wont miss anymore days seconds minutes years or hours of his life.
I just have to own up to my mistakes.
I hope he just like me.
I hope he's like me.
She kissed me on the cheek and then wiped my remaining tear.
We smiled at eachother and we shared a passionate but quick kiss and then we got up and walked down stairs hand in hand.

Amanda: Awe look at the cute cupple.
I laughed nana and her giggled.
Roc Ray and Prod came down stairs with boxes.

Prince: Y'all got bombs in there or sum?

Ray: Yeah nigga *George Lopez accent* Say hello to my little friend.
We all started busting out laughing.

Nana: Nah but seriously what you got in the boxes?

Roc: Jhonny's presents.
But you will see what they are when he open em'.
Now lets get goin shall we.
They both were carryin two boxes.
One big one and one medium one.
We all walked outside and hopped in the car and drove to Amanda's moms house.
We got out and saw balloons and confetti and we heard kids music comin from the back yard.
We walked through the driveway and I opened the gate to the back yard and saw a bunch of little kids runnin around jumpin playin screamin and I saw parents just chillin ya know havin dem grown folks conversations and what not.
Amanda brought everyone inside to help bring some food out.
I stayed outside trying to look for Johnny but that would be hard considering the fact that I aint know what he look like.
I then spotted this light skin boy with an afro he was short must've been one of Johnny's friends.
But he was givin me sum type of vibe.
So anyway a few minutes later everyone came back outside and we just talked and chilled.
But I was still starrin at that kid.
So then nana slapped me in my head and that got my attention.

Prince: The fuck you do that shit for?!

Nana: Number 1 watch your tone and number 2 stop starring at that kid.
You've lookin at him since we got here.
2 hours ago shit man you wanna kid nap him.
I laughed.

Prince: Nah but he makin me feel some type a way.
Like some strong vibe.
I dont know but I will get over it.

Amanda: Ok time ta see my baby I wonder where he is.
So she looked around the back yard and then she yelled...

Amanda: JOHNNY!!!!
The same boy I was lookin at turned around and ran full speed towards her as he yelled...

Johnny: MOMMY I MISSED YOU!!!!
They embraced eachother in a tight hug.
Could it be thats my baby boy.
He looked just like me.
Light skin afro and smile and same nose lips and eye color.
Green.
He was so beautiful.
I couldn't help it but a tear ran down my cheek.

Johnny: Hey mister why you cryin.
He was talkin ta me I quickly wiped my tear.

Me: What huh? Nah bro I aint cryin sum got in my eye.
My girl pulled my hair.
I laughed and he giggled.
