(Hunter is in last period)

Hunter's POV: She is so pretty. I don't understand why all of those guys think she is weird. I can't wait for her to come over.

(Hunter is now at home. His Mom's name is Mary)

Mary: Hey sweetie! How was your first day?

Hunter: It was okay.

Mary: Did you meet any potential friends?

Hunter: Well I ran into this group of guys. They were okay. But I met this girl named Ashlyn. She lives right across the street.

Mary: Well that's great honey! I would love to meet her sometime.

Hunter: Actually, she is coming over tonight to work on a chemistry project with me. Can she stay for dinner?

Mary: Well if she wants to, she absolutely can!

Hunter: Thanks mom. She will be here at 7:00.

(It is now 7:00)

(Hunter is upstairs in his room when the doorbell rings. He runs downstairs to get it. He opens the door and Ashlyn is standing there with her chemistry textbook in her hand.)

Hunter: Hey Ashlyn.

Ashlyn: Hi Hunter.

(Mary walks up to the front door.)

Mary: Hi! I'm Hunter's mom. You must be Ashlyn

Ashlyn: Yes ma'am. It's nice to meet you!

Mary: Hunter said that y'all are gonna work on a project. You are welcome to stay for dinner if you would like.

Ashlyn: Oh no I wouldn't want to impose.

Mary: You would not be imposing sweetie. We like an extra guest every once and a while.

Ashlyn: Okay. I guess I will stay but I have to be home by 9:00 if that's alright.

Mary: I'm sure we can make that work. Why don't you two go work on that project. I will call you down for dinner in about an 1 hour.

Hunter: Alright thanks mom.

(Hunter and Ashlyn go to his room to work on the project. They finish an then his mom calls them down for dinner. Ashlyn is seated across from Hunter and next to Mary)

Ashlyn: This meal is great Ms. Hayes.

Mary: Why thank you Ashlyn. This is Hunter's favorite meal.

Hunter: It's true. This is the best meal ever.

Mary: So Ashlyn, do you have any siblings?

Ashlyn: No. It's just me and my dad

Mary: Oh well I would love to meet him sometime!

Ashlyn: Yeah, he would like that. Unfortunately it's time for me to go. I will see you tomorrow Hunter.

Hunter: Here I will walk you out.

Ashlyn: Okay. Bye Ms. Hayes.

Mary: Bye Ashlyn!

(Hunter walks Ashlyn to the door.)

Hunter: Well our chemistry project is coming along pretty well.

Ashlyn: Yeah but we're nowhere near finished. At least we still have 2 days left.

Hunter: Yeah.

Ashlyn: Well I better ge-

(Hunter leans in and kisses her. Ashlyn looks shocked)

Hunter: Sorry. I've been wanting to do that all night.

Ashlyn: Hunter, that can never happen again.

Hunter: What? Why?

Ashlyn: I'm sorry I have to go!

Hunter: Ashlyn wai-

(Ashlyn slams the door shut.)
