Noah and I were walking towards my fathers office. How do people not know he's my father? We look so much alike. Fucking idiots.
"Elizabeth? Aren't you going to decorate your office? Your here early." My father frowned.
"No maybe another time. Can we go shopping? Maybe I can find something to put in my office."
"Alright. Go wait outside."
I walked out of my father's office and saw that people were still staring.
"What? Don't you have shit to do?" I yelled harshly.
Noah touched my shoulder to try to calm me down. I turned around and I was trying my best not to run up to the fucking receptionist and smack the shit out of her.
"Relax, Elizabeth. Just breath in and out." He whispered. I nodded and did exactly what he said.
"Let's go, darling." My father walked out of his office. I followed him and got into another elevator. I've been getting into elevators a lot today and something tells me I'm going to do that a lot in my future, too. Wow. I'm a freaking fortune teller. Nice.
We got into the car and drove to the mall.
"Elizabeth-" my father said, the same time I was asking, "Why-"
"You first." I mumbled.
My father sighed,"Elizabeth, you need to start getting used to the idea of people looking at you. You're new and you're the youngest." I frowned.
"I don't want to get used to that. I don't like it at all. And if I do get used to it, I still won't like it and I would still get mad. You can't change it."
"Alright. Well, what did you want to ask me?"
I sighed a long sigh, my father rolled his eyes.
"Why didn't you tell people you had children? And why didn't you tell them I was your daughter?"
It was his turn to sigh a long sigh and I rolled my eyes.
"I just haven't gotten to it yet." Really? That's it?
"Oh. Okay, because it's not like you've been running this agency for thirteen years or anything." I said sarcastically. Noah told me most of what is needed to know about where I am now currently working.
"Elizabeth, your sarcasm annoys me."
"That's the point." Dumbass.
"We're here." He jumped out of the car and I just followed him. Now I won't feel bad about him using money on me.
We shopped in seven different stores and I got clothes that I thought would fit me. I wasn't exactly skinny, so I had to look in larger sizes.
"Don't get to many big clothes. When your trainers are done with you you're going to look like those," he pointed to some of the mannequins.
I smiled at the thought of actually being beautiful. Nothing about me was attractive. I had a really big ass and my bust wasn't even that big. I wanted a thigh gap so bad that I would cry about it sometimes.
I would always walk into stores and see beautiful clothes and when I would ask for a bigger size, there never were. I wanted to wear cute shoes, but I would always be embarrassed about my feet. They were way to big for someone my age. I was also freakishly tall and my nose was way too wide. I was full of flaws. I have a huge gap between my two front teeth. The only thing that I thought was attractive about me were my cheekbones.
"Hey. Are you okay, Elizabeth?" I forgot we were still in the mall and I nodded.
After we bought enough clothes, we walked into an Apple store.
