Dreams Do Come True

Chapter 6:

Jacobs POV:

When I walk back stage to get ready for MAGCON I hear a beautiful voice, but then there's another voice. I walk around the corner to see what's going on. Then I see Daniel and Emma sitting on the couch singing together. I don't know why, but my face gets a little red. I jump when I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn around to see Taylor and Carter standing behind me chuckling. Oh brother, I know they are gonna say something to embarrass me.

"Hey, yo Jacob whys your face all red?" Ask Taylor already knowing the answer. I don't reply back, and walk away. As walking into another room I hear someone running up to me. I see Aaron run up to me. "Hey Jacob are you okay?" He says noticing my red face. "Ya" I say sadly. "What's wrong?" He ask concerned "I don't know." I reply back. "Well, make sure that frown is upside down by showtime!" He smiles as walking away. "Kay" I mumble. I walk across the hall into the dressing room, to get ready for the show.
Aaron is right, I need to focus on the show, I tell myself. Sighing I start fixing my hair, only an hour and a half until showtime. For some reason no matter how hard I try to get her out of my head, her beautiful face stays there. If I can't even focus now with her nowhere  near me how am I going to concentrate on the fans, with her just a few feet away from me? Get yourself together Jacob.

Before I know it it's show time and the rest of the guys walk into the dressing room for last minute touch ups, along with Emma who's laughing with Daniel. How long is she gonna be with him? I was the one who met her first, why isn't she hanging out with me? I find myself getting jealous of Daniel, and without even thinking I walk over to Emma and just start rambling: "Are you nervous for your first show Emma? I know I was. And it's a huge crowd!" Really, now I'm just gonna get her all nervous, nice going.

Emma's POV:

Out of the corner of my eye I see Jacob walking up to me and before I can even say anything he starts talking " Are you nervous for your first show Emma? I know I was. And it's a huge crowd!" For some reason he seems kind of nervous, I giggle as he looks at the floor with a flushed face. " No, I mean Daniel is gonna be right next to me singing. So if I mess up he'll just cover me." I say smiling, his face quickly turns from cute embarrassment to jealousy. " Oh" he says glaring at Daniel. The sound manager walks  in and tells us that we have 2 minutes until the show starts. "Well I'm gonna go check my makeup. I'll see you guys in a few." I say hugging Jacob and walking to my own dressing room.
