Chapter 4 part 2: meeting the princes

America's P.O.V
I wake up by my annoying alarm. There still is 2 more days before go enter school, today the 35 girls meet the princes. I'm nervous what if they don't like me? I need the money for my family to survive, I push that thought away. Maids come in and help me put on my dress on (at the top) they finish my make up as the other maids dress marlee and kriss. I make my way to the women's room and see all the selected there I seat next to marlee. She notices how nervous I am.
"Hey don't worry they will love you" she says smiling.
" I don't know I'm not pretty like you and the others" I confess
"America is right you 2 don't have a chance, I'm rich, clever, and beautiful, I'm going to win this" celeste says from behind.
She wished, I thought.
Marlee starts laughing.
"Excuse me, you wished you were like me" Celeste says flipping her hair.
Oops i said that outloud? I think.
"Yes you did" celeste says pretending to be offended.
Marlee's face is red as a tomato.
The doors open and the prince maxon, and Prince Ryan come in, prince maxon sees me and smiles making celeste jealous.
" We are glad to have you here ladies, as you all know, you have to compete for our hearts," prince Ryan says.

" you have to work had in order to stay in this competition, the next queen has to be clever and beautiful, and 2 of you have to have those qualities" prince Ryan continues.

" but if we don't feel we don't have feelings for you, we have to take you out of this competition, but you can continue your studies in this school" prince maxon says.

"Now we would like to meet you all one by one" prince ryan says.

It feels like hours until its my turn. I feel bad for the princes some girls couldn't stop touching them, you could see they wanted to run away from them. That made me smile. Its my turn to meet them both and I make my way to prince ryan.
"Hello your highness " I say bowing.
"Hi what's your name?" He asks with a smile.
"I'm america singer I'm a 5" I say.
He asks me about my life, and tell him about it and i learn he loves to paint and cook.
He makes jokes put it start cracking up because they are stupid. He says something funny and we both start laughing and i notice all the selected are sending daggers at me, prince maxon looks kinda jelouse.
"I'm sorry but I have to meet prince maxon now" I say.
"Dont worry i will see you at breakfast lady america" he says with a smile.
"See you later your highness" I curtsy and walk to prince maxon.
I smile at him and i bow
"hi your highness" I say.
"Hi lady america it's nice seeing you again," he says.
" thank you for defending me of my ex boyfriend," I say thanking him. I almost got raped but he came just before aspen could do anything.
"Your welcome. I wouldn't have bear seeing such a beautiful woman get hurt" he says smiling. That makes me blush like a tomato.
" I'm not beautiful, I'm just a normal girl" I say
"Don't get me started you are beautiful from the inside and out, and i know that I bearly know you but your an amazing woman" he says. That makes me blush even harder. I tell him about my self and he makes me laugh, and i learn more about him,
"Thank you prince maxon it was nice meeting you but It seems I have to go but I will see you at breakfast" i say standing up smiling.
" I guess so, i would love to know you better why don't you meet me at the garden at 6?" He asks.
"I would love, see you at 6" i say smiling and I curtsy .
"See you at 6" he says, i turn around and leave. Im fangirling right now I can't belive the prince asked me out on a date. And with that walk to breakfast.
