Lucious pov

Today is April eleventh. wow , today is the day that I made Cookie become Mrs. Lyon eighteen years ago. I remember that was the best night of my life. Reminiscing about her smile , her giggle , her body , those curves. I smiled at my thoughts.

"What got you all smiley" said London walking in my home office

"Just thinking about something but wassup" I asked

"I was wondering if I could go to Marquez house later" she said

"What do you plan on doing at his house" I asked

"We have a project we have to do ANNNNDD before you start asking all your questions , this project is worth eighty percent of my grade so if I don't do it I can get kicked off the softball team" she said

I chuckled "oh we wouldn't want that now would we" I asked sarcastically

"Daaaadd it is NOT funny , cmon please daddy please please please" she asked coming behind my desk and begging me

"Hmmmm" I said tapping my pen on my chin

"Cmon , you already know I'm your favorite" she said

"Bullshit" said Meriah walking in

"Hey baby girl" i said

"Hi...mini have you talked to mom" she asked

"Yea she says she's not feeling to hot but she sound like she low key in her feelings" said mini

I know cookies thinking about the past , today's our wedding anniversary. I feel horrible , she had to be in that cell for seventeen years on this day reminiscing about us. But I'll make sure that my queen never is left alone ever again. She won't be spending this night alone from now on

"Oh , well I'm going to the mall with Layla" I'll see y'all later" she said walking out

"So can I go" she asked

"I guess so , but you better be home before 10:00 London Simone" I said standing up and kissing her head

"Ohh thank you thank you thank you , I love you" she said walking out 

I stood up and walked to my bedroom and saw anika in the mirror looking at her butt. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the keys to my truck and my iPhone.

"Where you going baby" she said

"Me and Vern headed up to the other side of town for empire to find some new talent , probably won't make it home till tomorrow" I said

"Oh okay , well I love you be careful" she said

"Yea yea" I said walking out. Juanita handed me my bag with my stuff in it and off to my Cookie's house i went.

Cookie answered the door and now we are looking eye to eye not saying a word letting our eyes speak.

I was sitting on my couch watching love and hip hop Atlanta when I heard banging on the door. I paused the show and walked to the door when they banged on it again.
