The wolf was slowly approaching me.  What would I do? I had to kill it before it kills me.  I held my spear up high, but it didn't stop walking toward me.  OH MY GAWD!?! What do I do?!  A wolf is walking toward me!  I made a few growling noises and screams but it wasn't scared.  When it was about a few meters away from me I was paralyzed.  I wouldn't move.  This is like my worst nightmare come true.  The wolf was a few inches away from me.  Then it started to rub against my leg. I almost fainted.  I felt a connection between the wolf and me.  Its like I knew it in a previous life or this life or or.  I didn't know what to do how to react or what to think.  The wolf sat in front of me, I just stared at it in shock.  It made a few sad dog noises.  When I finally realized I had a life and I could move I started to pinch myself really hard.  I was awake. I think.  I eventually put my hand down for the wolf to smell.  WHAT AM I THINKING!?!  The wolf smelled it carefully.  I bent down on my knees, it was a pup.  It probably had no parents.  I gently stroked its head.  Its fur was so soft I could barely feel it.  It was the most beautiful animal I have ever seen.

In the morning the wolf was gone.  I saw his foot prints. I followed them until they stopped.  I started to worry and cry.  He was gone, the sweetest most beautiful gentle animal was gone.   Suddenly the sound of helicopters over took me.  I ran to open space where there weren't many trees and blew my whistle, yelled and waved my arms in the air.  I think they saw me.  They came to land.  I was beyond happy except that that wolf that I met was gone. When they landed my parents came out.  "Mommy!  Daddy!"  I was so happy.  "Is that really you Daniella?"  tears filled my Mothers and Fathers eyes.  I had actually never seen my dad cry before this moment.  " Lets go home and hear everything that happened honey"  I agreed because I just couldn't wait to warm up in front of the fire place, I have been in the wilderness for two days
