GREYSON’S POV
“Why Ciara, why are you acting like that?” I asked myself as I headed to the bathroom for a shower. I removed all my clothes then turned the shower on and I waited for the cool water to pour on my body. All that I’m thinking about that time is Ciara.“Why did she do that? What have I done to her?” She acts differently for the past weeks. Everything was going right but then I noticed that she’s always like hurrying. She always excuses herself for something. Is she meeting someone? Is she-‘No! No! Don’t think like that Greyson! Ciara is an honest girl. She will never do that’. My inner voice snapped at me. I finished my shower. I headed to my closet to find some clothes to wear for our date. I have chosen a white Dylan t-shirt , a long sleeve and dark pants, I have faced the mirror then gave my hair a little style. I went down the stairs and headed to the garage where I could find my baby, Moses. I drove Moses to our rendezvous. I parked my car on the nearest parking lot. I dialed the number of one of my best buddies, Christian. He is one of my childhood best friends up to now.
Greyson: Hey brother! How is it? Does it look good?
Christian: Yeah Bro! Better than good.
Greyson: Make sure!
Christian: Of course! I hired the best designer in Oklahoma.
Greyson: hahahahaha! I appreciate that!
Christian: Once you got up here, you’ll never find me. I’m getting downstairs this time. Just wait for Ciara there bro! Good luck on your date!
Greyson: Your well! Thank you! bye! Gotta go.

I hope Ciara will gonna like it. This is our 100th day so I prepared our date to be on the rooftop of the tallest building in Edmond. I want our date to be memorable. I decided our date to be at night so fans would not see me dating Ciara, and also to make our date more romantic than ever. I went upstairs and headed to the rooftop. I could see nothing but our dating place. It’s the best place I’ve ever seen! Gotta text Christian!
To: Christian
It’s the best bro! Thank you!
From Christian:
I told ya!
I sat down on one of the chairs and waited for Ciara. As I’m waiting. I’m observing our table. I’m sure she’ll gonna like it. Just look at the candle lights, the drinks, the foods, the decorations, roses, hearts scattered everywhere, and the chocolate.
As I’m sitting, I glanced at my wristwatch. It’s 7:30 already. I felt so uncomfortable so I dialed here number. She didn’t answer it instead she sent me a message.
From Ciara:
Driving on my way babe. Just wait, your girlfriend is coming. I love you! <3
A smile was printed on my face after reading that. I’m so excited to know what she would feel. Seconds, minutes, until an hour passed. It’s already 8:30. Where is she? I texted her.
To Ciara:
Where are you now babe? You said you’re on your way?
From Ciara:
My car got a problem. The engine can’t start. Sorry babe. I’ll be late.
To Ciara:
Okay. That’s alright! I’ll just wait for you. Take care babe.
This is so bad, hope she’s fine.
I waited again for hours. She’ s still not here. It’s already 10:00 pm so I decided to call her for the second time. Hopefully, she answered it.
Greyson: Babe, where are you now?
Ciara: Sorry Babe. I can’t go.
I trembled in extreme sadness.
Greyson: What? You know that this is very important for me and for you because it is our 100th day.
Ciara: Sorry babe.
Tears streaming down my cheeks.
Greyson: I’ll wait for you here No matter what happen. I love you.
*call ended
I ended the call not waiting for her answer. All I feel is numb, I’m an idiot, waiting for a person I know who will never come. I’m hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. It’s already 12:00 am. She’s not here, still. I waited, and waited. I heard trembling sounds, lightning strikes and finally the rain comes down. I didn’t left the table, I’m now soaked with water. The decorations got wet too. All of them. Christian’s effort is wasted.
It’s already 1:00 am. I hear the thunder roars in the darkest part of the sky. I decided to give up. I’m losing hope. I left all the things but I took my gift for her, the necklace. My grandfather gave it to me before he passed away. He said that I’ll give this to the girl I truly love. I planned to give this to Ciara tonight but she didn’t come. I went home with Moses, so sad.
“Why did she do that? Why Ciara? This is the first time. The very first time you didn’t show off on our date.”
I’m now on our house. Mom and Dad, Tanner and Alexa were asleep on their own rooms. I’m so tired. I fell on the sofa, asleep.
