Soulmate!AU where your world is black and white until you lock eyes with your soulmate

Hinata Shouyou. An elite spy specializing in agility and stealth. He is currently one of the best spies in the agency he works in, Karasuno Secret Service, or KSS. KSS has been recently working to eliminate their enemy corporation, King Intelligence Agency, or KIA. Based on the information so far gathered, they have been planning to dominate weaker agencies, making them the ones in control. This is where one of Karasuno's best agents comes in.

"I'm ready, Director! I'll be sure to complete my mission!" Hinata saluted his boss, Daichi Sawamura, Director of the KSS.

"Calm down, Hinata. That was only the most basic information. Listen closely. We know the location where they are hiding the information, but that is really all we know. So, for safety measures, we are assigning you a partner. Sugawara, please bring him in."

Sugawara Koushi, vice director, nods towards Daichi and opens the door, revealing a short agent. He is dressed in all black with spiked hair and a dyed lighter part, hanging in the front. His face lights up seeing Hinata.

"Hey, Shouyou! Long time no see!" The agent jogs up to Hinata and lightly ruffles his hair.

"Nishinoya! Wow! You're still shorter than me!" Nishinoya twitches hearing about his height.

"Hey! Don't get like that! You're not that much taller! And I'll have you know, I've moved up in rank! I'm now this facility's number one tech agent! And I'm still older! Show respect for your upperclassmen!" Hinata lightly laughs and rubs the back of his head.

"Yes, Nishinoya-san!"

Daichi had stayed silent while watching the two talk, but had finally decided to end this reunion. "Alright, you two. Enough chat. Nishinoya, be sure to keep an eye on Hinata while he is observing the area. We don't know what dangers await."

"Of course, Daichi-san! Don't worry, Shouyou! I've got your back!" Saying this, Noya waves at his partner and leaves the room.

Hinata focuses his attention back to Daichi, who is placing a small tablet on his desk.

"This tablet is how you'll stay in contact with Nishinoya and how to access any information you need to know. Don't lose it." Daichi says as he puts on a menacing face.

Hinata yelps and looks down at the floor, remembering the mission where he lost a crucial piece of evidence to finding a wanted criminal.

"That is all I have to say. Please prepare your supplies and be ready to leave in an hour."

"Yes, Daichi-san!" Hinata grabs the tablet and leaves the office.

An hour later, Hinata is ready with his tools in his bag and sitting on his small, but speedy, motorcycle. The moon is high in the sky, staring down on the young spy. Daichi and Suga stand beside the vehicle, telling him repeatedly not to lose anything and to be careful. The motorcycle eventually starts and leaves the agency.

Following the instructions his tablet gave him, he pulls up to the back of an old warehouse. There are no other living beings that Hinata can currently see for miles. Deciding that going through the entrance would be a stupid idea, Hinata climbed onto the roof using his grappling hook and walked over to the front of the building, careful to not make much noise. Looking down on the entrance, he saw a boy sitting on the wall. He had dark hair with bangs and dark clothing. He sat there with a gun next to him and a milk carton in his hand. He didn't look like much of a threat, but as Hinata was told, never underestimate your opponent. He could simply shoot him, but Hinata isn't a gigantic fan of killing unless absolutely necessary. Also, this boy was really good looking. He couldn't see colors, but he could see his very pretty eyes and great body. In against killing the boy, Hinata pulled out a tranquilizer gun. Loading his gun made a slight clicking sound, but the boy did not show any reaction. He leaned over the building, aimed, and fired.

The dark haired boy moved quickly out of the way, as if he was anticipating the shot. Shocked, Hinata quickly ran to the center of the roof and contacted Noya that the enemy knew he was there. The boy seemed to also be contacting allies. Hinata needed to knock him out or kill him now. Jumping down from the roof, a knife in hand, Hinata slashed at the boy, but he dodged.

'This boy has some skill. I'll have to run in and get some cover, and if I'm lucky, find the info.'

Hinata jumped over the boy, dodging his attacks, and ran behind a crate inside the building. His pursuer is not far behind.

"Goddammit, get back here!"

Hinata loaded his gun and shot a few rounds at the boy, who somehow still dodged them.

Deciding that this agent was too much trouble, and far range would not work for him, Hinata decided to simply charge up and hopefully get a hit to his head. He pulled out his knife, and dashed at top speed towards him. The agent guessed his plan, and grabbed on to Hinata's wrist, stopping the knife's path only a few inches from his head.

At this point, Hinata was outraged that he was stopped by a single agent. Hinata glared straight into his opponent's eyes, but was immediately filled with surprise as he saw his entire world change. Colors dashed around his view as the dullness of the grayscale faded away. But the color that standed out most to him most was..

"Blue."

"Orange." said the other agent, just as surprised as Hinata.

They stared into each others eyes, still processing this entirely new situation. After a couple seconds, they both realized what this meant.

"W-wait. If I can see colors now, and I looked into your eyes..." Both Hinata's and the agent's eyes filled with slight anger, but mostly surprise, as they stated the situation in perfect sync.

"You're my soulmate?!"
