Headcannon that Qrow is actually Ruby's dad.
Because how did Taiyang make Ruby?
So here-
Summer and Qrow got together while Tai was with Raven.
Summer got pregnant with Qrow's kid, but Qrow knew he couldnt handle a kid, so he had a breakdown. He told Summer he had to leave and she understood.
After Qrow was gone, Summer realized she needed a father for her child.
That's where Taiyang comes in.
She gets with and sleeps with Tai. She doesnt get pregnant from Tai, though. And she was in the early pregnancy stages so she took another test, and she showed it to Tai and told him that he was the father.
So Ruby was born, and since she looked so much like her mother, Tai figured she just had alot of Summer's genes. So they raised her together, and Summer died. She took her secret to her grave. And Qrow still hasn't said. A word to Taiyang. To this day, Taiyang still believes he is the father.
