Sarotoga

We left Kentucky to go to New York for Sarotoga. I could not wait, I was flying with this new horse the stable got . Her name was Brownies Back she is a brown mare. It turns out to be that she is a little slow.

Ansels Fault has been practicing against me for the past month. He was going to race me next week at Indiana.

I fell asleep on the plane and I soon woke up when the plane jerked to a stop. We were unloaded and took to the race track. When we got there we went to the stabling area to be tacked up.

Jacobs Pov

Luke and I walked to the stands were the lineup was. I looked at the lineup to see only two names that I have seen before but this race should come away with an easy win.

I knew Mysterious Legend and Waters Edge but both are easy to beat. Frosted was favorite and Blizzards Warning was second favorite.

I walked back listening to Luke tell me the usual, to let him take the lead and stay there. Just to let him run his heart out.

Frosted Pov

Jacob and like finally returned and just in time. They called riders up and Luke gave Jacob a leg up and took us to the track. Jacob told me to just run and keep going. I gave him a head shake in reply.

We were loaded in first because I have grown okay with the gates. Soon everyone was loaded in and Jacob counted in my ear and the gates shot open. I shot out but was in last so I just ran. I soon pasted my way up to third and easily pasted Blizzards Warming and Justo Top. In the final leg I was in first and soon did not here anything but my heart race and by hooves beat. I crossed the wire in first by 7 lengths soon followed by Brownies Back and Blizzards Warning. I was lead to the barn and washed off.

I fell asleep on the plane ride home talking to Browny about how I just disappeared. Next week was going to be good. We will be the first brothers to ever run in the very same race in history. I did not know what the consequence would be.
