When I got home I was quickly tooken to my stall in which I could stay for a long time. I was so bored I took a nap while Ansel was took out to the track.
Ansels Pov
I was took to the track shortly after Frosty got home. Jacob tacked me up and rode me out to Luke. Luke told Jacob to take me one lap easy and then kick it up a quarter of the way around and again at the final stretch.
I was loaded and waited till they shot open and I took off. Jacob took me down a notch and held me pack. When I hit the half of second lap I kicked it up and then again when the final stretch. I finished with a good time but was took back to the stalls and cooled off.
Luke's Pov
Soon Jacob returned from Ansels warm up and he started his chores. Meanwhile I was going to the other barn on the property to get a new foal for Lucy. Today is her 11 birthday and the fillies her to keep. She would decide them name and everything. I wanted her to be able to take my place or to starts a new stable.
A hour later
Lucy came running to the barn were I was standing holding on to her filly.
She ran in and asked "Who is that, dad."
"It's your birthday present and she your to keep" I said.
"Does she have a name" Lucy asked.
" No you can name her," I said.
"Well she is a Brown with white blaze so um what about Mabel Sue" she asked.
"I like that name good chose" I said.
