Belmont

I could not wait to take that great drive to The Belmont Stakes. I soon woke up to Jacob and Luke getting my food and the trailer hooked up. I ate and was took out to the trailer along with my brother Ansel.

We soon arrived and we were taken to the barn were we waited till they came amd tacked us up.

When Luke and Jacob returned we were soon tacked up and headed out to warm up. I was scared but still had it with me I wanted to win but I don't know. I will try my best know matter how it turns out i will be proud.

We were took out to the track at the sound of riders up. I was loaded in first follow my Manning's Legacy. So we talked till every one was loaded in.

RING

I dashed lit of the gates and strait to first but was soon pushed by Manning's Legacy. He wanted to take the lead so bad but I held on. I stayed in the lead till about the home stretch. Since Manning was pushing me I was so tired and started to drop. Manning's Legacy soon took the lead. I was so scared what was happening. I emptied the as tank to hopefully win the race. We crossed the wire nose and nose. As we waited for the final photo Jacob and Victor was taking and i was talking to Manning since this would be his last race. He enjoyed it and hoped that he won but hoped that I did too. I heard all the gasps and cries from the crowd. I looked at the screen and my stomach fell, i had lost by a sliver of a nose. I was devastated, but i did not know what I would see when I got home.

I was loaded into the trailer as Manning was still celebrating. I could see he was proud but devastated at the same time.

At home I walked into the barn and again my stomach dropped .........
