The wind picked up as her car rolled to a stop in the parking lot. Cutting the engine off and slipping out of the car she was hit by an icy gust of air.

"Looks like it's going be yet another freezing day." She murmured wrapping her canary yellow coat around her body and burying her nose in her equally bright purple scarf. It wasn't her usual style, but they were both gifts from her closest friends who insisted she needed to wear something that wasn't black or grey.

Walking as fast she could towards the building entrance she focused on getting her heartbeat to slow down, but she'd lost that battle the moment her plane touched down in Seoul roughly four hours ago. That had given her enough time to rush to her apartment for a shower and a refreshing nap, but she was barely able to keep her eyes closed for more than five minutes knowing what or rather who was on the other side of town.

She'd been away for awhile, dealing with a family problem back in her home country. But that wasn't home anymore. Home is where the heart is, isn't that what they always say? It just so happened that she had irrevocably lost her heart right here in South Korea, and she didn't want it back. She just hoped the one who had it now hadn't decided that he wanted something else entirely during the time she was away.

She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't notice when the elevator doors opened up. It was a surprised voice that drew her back into reality.

"Hey! I didn't know you were back!" said a pleasantly surprised Chanyeol, who proceeded to engulf her in a hug. She barely even came up to his chest and more often than not she was always falling victim to his ceaseless teasing about her height.

"Stop hogging her for yourself!" came another voice.

"Chen, you guys are in Korea?" she asked, forgetting for a moment about the reason she was here in the first place. After all, her friends were one of the things that made Korea home.

"Mm, but we have to go back to China soon." He said also pulling her into a hug.

It didn't take long for her to realise that there was one member missing, she tried to respond with enthusiasm to whatever Chen was saying, but the boy didn't miss the disappointed look in her eyes.

"Kai's up in the dance studio." He said before she could even ask. She noticed how everyone became tense at the mention of his name.

"Why do you all look like that?" she asked, an uneasy feeling settling like a rock in her chest.

"Well, it's just that...w-well you see..." Chen stammered, "T-the thing is..."

"You're the last person Kai wants to see right now. He hates your guts." Sehun said matter-of-factly.

"Sehun!" Suho scolded, while the others looked on in horror. Sehun merely rolled his eyes and said;

"It's the truth though isn't it Suho-hyung? " his statement shocked her; she'd never heard Sehun talk to her in that way before. Did he hate her too?

"I..." she tried to speak, but her throat had closed up in terror. In the back of her mind she always knew that Kai would probably be mad at her, but from the way Sehun was reacting, she wondered if she'd made the biggest mistake of her life. Had the trip back home cost her, her chance at happiness with Kai, and her friendship with the boys too? She'd seen how close the boys were, by hurting Kai, she'd hurt them as well.

She cleared her throat and tried to speak again but Chen beat her to it;

"What the idiot is trying to say is that Kai was worried sick when you disappeared without a word. We all were." He said. "He was going out of his mind wondering what happened to you."
