Falling For A Master

Chapter-1

"Come on Fenniken we'll be late!" Serena called to her Fenniken as they ran down the street. "Why did I sleep in so late?" She asked herself as she arrived at the school and heard the bell which meant to get ready for class. She arrived at the door panting before saying "C'mon Fenniken return." (School rules state that Pokémon aren't aloud out during school.) She tucked her ball into her skirt pocket and headed inside. People were walking up and down the corridors pushing and shoving people in front and behind. She shoved her way to her locker right beside Sophie's who was getting out her books.

"Hey!" Sophie greeted her. "Hi." Serena panted still out of breath. "New year!" Sophie said exitedly. "I wonder if we'll have any new teachers?" Serena wondered aloud opening her locker. "Yeah but apparently at the start of school assembely they'll be introducing a new student and they're in our year!" She said excitedly once again. "Why are you so happy? It's not like they'll be friends with us." Serena stated bluntly. "There's always a chance." Sophie playfully elbowed her. Serena smiled as she looked at Sophie's timetable for the books she needed.

The bell sounded and instead of going to class they went to the hall for assembely. They sat in the seats that were set in rows in front of the stage in the hall. The principal took his place on the stage and as people noticed him silence fell.

"Welcome back to another school year and to the new people joining our school, welcome!" He began. "Now, we have a new student joining our mid exam year." "This is it!" Sophie whispered to Serena even more extatic. "Please welcome, Ash Ketchum!" Serena's head popped up from looking at her feet. The raven haired boy stepped out of the drawn curtain behind the principal. He waved and there was a sudden wave of giggiling in amoungst the girls. "He's so cute! And his Pikachu is just the perfect match for him!" Sophie whispered to Serena giggiling along with all the girls. However Serena didn't answer she was just staring at Ash her heart thumping. "Sereeenaaa!" Sophie waved her hand in front of Serena's face zipping her back to reality. "Oh... Um... Sorry what?" "You okay?" Sophie asked. "Um... yeah." Serena answerd meekly. "Okay..." her friend answerd suspiciously before getting sucked back into the aura Ash was amitting. "Why is he here?" Serena asked herself.
