Falling For A Master

Chapter-2

Serena's P.O.V
Why is he here? After all this time?

We disband and attend our classes. All the girls tried to catch up to Ash and walk to class with him saying things like "where you from?" "You single?" "You doing anything friday?" "I have a Pikachu aswell you know!" In an attempt to win him over. I throw my eyes up to heaven as Sophie laughs but I have this wierd feeling in my chest... i'm not sure what it is...

As we take our seats in English class the teacher walks in and stands in front of the class. "Would our new student like to come up and introduce himself?" The teacher asks Ash. "Sure!" he replied smiling. He walked up through the rows of chairs, girls cooing at him. As he passed me he looked at me as if he recongised me but couldn't put his finger on where he knew me from. I quickly looked down pretending to look into my bag for something.

"Tell us something about yourself Ash." The teacher encouraged him. "Well as you know i'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town in Kanto and this is my partner Pikachu!" He introduced himself as Pikachu ran up the row and jumped on his shoulder. "I'm sorry but Pikachu will have to be put in its pokéball its in the rules you would have recieved." She informed him. "But please Miss. Pikachu dosen't like his pokéball." As Pikachu shaked his head confusion spread throughout the classroom as to why a Pokémon wouldn't like its pokéball but the teacher continued. "Well i'll have to ask the principal. But moving on, Kanto is different from Kalos isn't it?" She asked. "Um yeah for instince in Kanto once you turn ten you don't need to attend school you can just start your Pokémon journey." Words like "That's so cool!" "I wish I could do that!" Spread through out the classroom. I've always wanted to become a Pokémon performer but school has always been in the way. I think like this losing myself in thought until the teacher quites the class. "So you've been on your Pokémon journey then?" She asks "Well i'm still on it. I want to become the worlds best Pokémon Master and so i've travelled to all the regions obvioisly Kanto and then Johto, Unova, Sinnoh, The Orange Islands, Hoenn and I was planning to come here next but then my mom said we were moving here. But that dosen't mean i'm not gonna stop my journey i'm still gonna beat every gym here!" He said determinately.

Even when we were younger he had the same dream with the same determination. I always admiared him for that. And maybe... that's why I like him...

The bell rang and we entered the cafeteria for lunch. We sat in our usual corner isolated from everyone else. And as I had my back to the enterance I only had Sophie's face to tell me that Ash had entered. "It's him!!" She half giggled half whisperd. I rolled my eyes again pretending not to care. "He's coming this way act cool!" She paniced. "He's not." I retorted but as I heard people talking behind me my eyes widened. "Is he... walking over to Serena?" "No, he couldn't be." "What's wrong with him?" I felt a light tap on my back and Sophie turned her head away to giggle. I turned my head and saw the raven haired boy with his red and white baseball hat, blue and white short sleeved jacket and navy tracksuit pants with his Pikachu on his shoulder smiling at me. "Umm... could I talk to you outside for a minute?" Sophie's eyes locked on mine as I turned my head to look at her. She nodded slightly and I turned back to face Ash saying "Sure." As confidently as I could. (Which didn't work out well since I almost chocked on the words but I think he understood me since he smiled at me.) As we walked out through the main school doors girls all around gossiped about the two of us together.
