Chapter Three: Beatles and Skulls

Scarlet's POV:

I went on talking with Aiden for what seemed like hours, we walked around camp and I took him to see the sights. I even got to show him his cabin. Wow his smile could melt hearts. He seemed to like it here at camp. I had to admit, even I felt safe here. And I haven't felt safe in a long time.

I finally decided to take him to the others. I knew where they would be. We had all been training pretty hard. We were demigods it was in our blood to fight monsters and rouges. I opened the door to the armory.

"LOOK OUT!" I grabbed Aiden's arm and yanked him down as a ax sailed over over our head's and embedded itself into the wall. He looked up at the ax then looked at me like we were all crazy.

"Gods! PK!" I screamed and took off running to catch that moron, Ares boy. He was probably the one who did it. He loved messing with the weapons. It was funny. He was terrified of me.

I ran through the armory grabbing a random knife and throwing it, it hit his shirt and pinned him to the wall. Abbey was calmly listening to music. Help! I need somebody, help! Sage and Sally were laughing and smiling about something, I'm pretty sure Sage was using charmspeak, they were probably having an argument they might be half sisters but Sage didn't seem like a child of the love goddess, she was more like a Huntress. Mathew and Cassey were talking about their favorite anime. Those two got along well, which was surprising. Then there was Dabs, she had already made an impression on me, being not only Roman that was sent to Camp Half Blood, but she was also a child of Pluto, and powerful.

"HEY! HEY AT LEAST I GAVE YOU A WARNING! DON'T KILL ME SCAR PLEASE!" PK pleaded trying to yank the knife out of the wall. "We have a guest PK this is not a good first impression!" He immediately looked up at Aiden who was standing awkwardly by the doors of the armory. I grabbed the knife and ripped it out of the wall. PK flinched and looked at the others.

"Hey! Nice to meet you!" PK said walking over to him. I honestly didn't want these guys to be to harsh on him, it was my job to be harsh. I rolled my eyes as PK sparked up a conversation with him. Slowly everyone else joined in.

We all ended up staying in the armory and talking. Our pasts, or futures, what we wanted, we really got to know each other...Until we were attacked.

I was sitting next to Dabs and Cassey and happily talking about different weapons and our parents. Sage and Sally were flirting with Mathew who wasn't really paying attention. Aiden was smiling and talking to PK and Mathew. For once I felt like a normal teen. I had known I was a demigod, I would see my father in my dreams even though my mother would deny it.

All of a sudden, Dabs got really quiet. "Everyone get up and run right now!" She said, fear in her eyes. We barely had time to react before the ground started shaking. I jumped up and looked at the ground.

"Dabs, what in Hades is it?!" I said grabbing a sword. "No idea! But its powerful I can sense it. Whatever it is." She said taking off her ring and flicking it up into the air. It turned into a six foot bejeweled scythe that Leo had made for her. Abbey pressed the middle button on her Ipod and it turned into a three foot long sword (also made by Leo).

The rest of us grabbed random weapons. Aiden's hands lit on fire and everyone took a step back. PK and Mathew were about to comment, when four skeletons crawled out of the ground, and immediately started attacking us.
