Makoto's P.O.V

We walked through the town together as the sun started to set. We laughed together, "You pulled a girl's hair because she did not want to give your chair back?" I asked her as she nodded her head. I laughed even harder than I was already laughing. Her cheeks flushed red and embarrassed of the moment where she got into an argument when she was in elementary school because of a girl who did not want to give her chair back . "How come I have never seen you before?" I asked her full of curiosity. She looked at me, "Well my mother and I wanted a new start with new people." She said. I shook my head at that idea, "I think starting all over again in life is utterly stupid." I said. She chuckled at me, "Why is that?" She asked me. I looked at the sun as the color of the sky burst through the sky with such breath taking colors: magenta, blue, and a hint of orange that painted through the sky. It was absolutely beautiful. "Because life is too short to start all over again.  You just need to resume it with new people in your life." I said as I stared at her almond brown eyes. She laughed, "Touché." She said.
Every minute that has passed by felt like forever. The cool summer breeze blew upon us as it left its cool kiss on our skin, the leaves starts to dance in the rhythm of the breeze, and the sounds of the sea filled the small town. We suddenly stopped as I looked at her in awe as she looked amazed at what she saw above. "It's breath taking." She said as her hands roamed through the paint that covered the building. It was a painting of a solider that was protecting his family as knives and bullets was heading his way, he still protected his family even if it meant sparing his life just to make them survive.
"Not as breath taking as you." I said as she looked at me and blushed. "What did you say?" She asked me in curiosity. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest,  "I-it's be-beautiful I mean." I said as I tried to find the right words to say. She chuckled at me. She looked at what time it was. Her eyes widened at how many hours that has passed by from us. "I must go." She said in a hurry. I gently grabbed her hand as I stared into her beautiful almond eyes that sparkled in the sun-light.  It felt like if we were the only people in the world as if the world stopped rotating, "Will I see you again?" I asked her. She stared at me for a moment trying to find the right words as silenced fell upon us. All she could think of was those words that came out of her mouth, "I don't know." She said. My heart tore at those words that came out of her mouth as I gently let go of her hand, "If we do. I promise we'll have the proper way of getting to know each other." She said. I watched her walk as the sun set settled. Filling the whole town in complete darkness as she left me. All I could think of her how I can see her again and see those bright eyes.
