Rose's P.O.V
I looked deeply into the beautiful scenery that surrounded me, getting a perfect glimpse of it. The sky filled with lilac as it fades into the blue, the mountain surrounded by clouds covering the tip of it, and the fields dancing with the sound of the wind. It was breathtaking. The tip of my paint brush hit the canvas as I started to paint the scenery making small yet gentle sounds. "I knew you were going to be here." A familiar voice said. I gasped in shock of his sudden presence, "Nice painting." He added as he stared into the scenery, I looked at him with a puzzle look. "How did you find me?" I asked him. Makoto chuckled, "This is one of the places I go to relax. Not a lot of people know about this place. Luckily I got the chance to explore and find this place." He said sitting down in fields as he picked up a flower. I could feel y heart tear apart as I saw him picking up a daisy. "Don't pick up flowers!" I yelled out. He chuckled at me, "Why?" He asked. My cheeks flushed red, I never knew why I disliked when people picked up flowers or stepped on them. People would assume why I disliked it because my name was Rose and it's a special flower. But I disliked it because they took the life out of a innocent yet helpless flower. "Because that poor flower didn't do anything to harm! Yet you took the life out of it." I said. He stayed silent as he put the flower down placing it gently on the ground.
The sound of the wind filled up the silence, I looked at the scenery once again as my paint brush was about to touch the canvas. Shocked that I've been painting him in it. How he danced in the field, sitting down, and staring deeply into the scenery. It captured all the small details of him even his ocean-green eyes were imitated. "Wow, you got a true talent there Rose!" He exclaimed as his piercing ocean-green eyes peered into the painting, admiring every little aspect of it. I chuckled, "Thank you." I said, "You want it?" I asked him. His ocean-green eyes lit up as he heard those words coming out of my mouth. He stayed silent trying to find the right words to say, "But you worked hard on this painting, I simply can't take it." He said. I shook my head, "No, you can take it. I have a bunch of paintings in my house. My mother will have a fit when she sees me adding a new painting on the wall." I said. It was true, my mother loved all of my paintings but the more I started painting the more the walls of our home was filled. The matter of months that passed by my mother was all already nagging. I know she loves my paintings but it was already too much. I agree with her, our house was filled with all sorts of paintings. He chuckled, "Thank you, but may I have one last thing before you give me this amazing painting?" He asked me. I nodded my head in agreement, "Can I have your signature on it?"He asked me as he pointed out the small blank area of the canvas that was for marking my work. I was shocked, I never engraved nor marked my paintings with my signature. Hell, I didn't even have a signature, I always thought it was the most stupidest thing ever to do such a thing to a painting. I always wanted people to wonder who the mysterious artist; it screamed ADVENTURE in all over of the places.
I picked up my pen as I drew a small rose to signify me as the artist. "That's beautiful, thank you." He said once again as he stared at his new painting in awe, I couldn't help myself but to smile. He looked like a small toddler that was given a new toy. His brown hair comb back, the way his shirt hugged his body showing his muscles, and the way his shirt complimented those eyes of his. "Checking me out, I see." He laughed. I shook my head in embarrassed that he caught me, "No, I was just looking at the scenery around you how beautiful it would be to paint it." I lied. He nodded his head, laughing. He laid down on the soft green grass looking up at the sky as the clouds drift above us. I laid down as the scent of flowers hit my nostril, "This is my favorite time of the day." He added, "It shows how the creation of God's is truly beautiful." I nodded in agreement, it was true. The scenery that surrounded us was truly magnificent: the green pasture that goes on as flowers surrounds every corner making it seem like a meadow, the mountain that covers in snow, the sounds of birds chirping as they sing a little of song of theirs', and the afternoon sky that shows the cotton-candy-like clouds that drifts gently in the sky peacefully. It was amazing. "Do you ever want to experience what love feels like?" He asked me with full curiosity. I chuckled at his question, "Why are you asking me this?" I asked him as I roll down as I lay down on my stomach as I face his ocean-green eyes. "I'm serious, Rose." He said with a serious face. I took a deep breath, "Of course, I always craved for that feeling," I admit sheepishly, "It's such a nice feeling: someone loving for the person you are and thinking you're simply perfectly imperfect, able to be there in your worst time and wipe away all your tears by replacing them laughter, and hugging all your brokeness together making them whole." He nodded his head, "I want that too. I want to be that person." He said. "You can." I responded. He looked at me with his bright eyes, "How?" He asked me. "Finding that person." I said. "What if it was you?" He asked me. My whole world stopped as my heart beating out of my chest as I heard those words come out of his mouth.
