"Plane number 011301 will land shortly so kindly fasten your seat belts for the arrival."
I open my eyes slowly as I tried to composed myself. Yes, I remember that I'm now finally go home with my family. my wish that I really wanted, that somehow it took almost many years to achieve it.
"You may remove your seat belts and may get their things. Thank you for choosing this plane." I stir my head and unbuckle my seat belt as I felt the plane stopped to its destination. many people are moving out of the plane, so I purposely be that last person on the line. I took my luggage and went out also.
'15 minutes, and mom'll be here.' I thought as I search for something to eat. I bought 3 burgers and a drink and waited at the brown bench which mom can easily see me... that is according to the people who are sitting on. I waited, and I waited, and I waited till my last two burgers were eaten.
"Anate?" I heard mentioned my name, so i find who's the person calling me until I found it right infront of me...
"Mom?" I said, tears are almost appearing to my eyes. I ran to her hugged the her tightest hug that I've been missing for. She also hugged the tightest.
"I miss you so much!" My mom said, "Look at you, you look like a mature woman. Heck I realized you look like your father once again."
"Mom!" I protest, trying to cover her mouth from spilling such an embarrassing compliment.
Then she chuckled, the chuckle I miss, "Shall we get going? The vehicle is waiting for us." She took the luggage I brought and we're both headed outside of the airport, appearing our limo. We both went inside together with my things and started to drive. It's good to be back in Japan again. All the memories since my childhood still remains. And I just realized that the community I'm seeing seems different from the community back then.
"Hey mom, since when did this community change so sudden?" I asked my mom, to which I got a chuckled as her response.
"It's always the saying 'Every day changes'." My mom answered, "I just don't notice the changes, or it's just you because you're still in America."
I just chuckle at my mom and continue to stare at the 'new' city until we reached to the cemetery?
"Mom, what're we doing in here?" I asked my mom.
"We're visiting someone..." Is what she said. The limo stopped and we hopped out and walked until we reached the front gate. My mom brought out the bouquet of flowers and went ahead.
As we reach the inside, i didn't realized my mom stopped to her destination. I stopped also as I saw her kneel in front of the grave. I heard her whisper, but not clearly.
"Come," My mom said as she gestured me to go near. As I go nearer and nearer, i didn't expect that he will be the one that we'll visit.

Love your career as you loved me...
"Dad?"
"Do you still remember about the business problems?" My mom asked as she breaks the silence, "Y'know, we already won and our business still continues."
"But unfortunately, I'd discovered something about him that he had cancer... Lung cancer. I cried so hard of course, but you know what? Instead of worrying and crying about his cancer, he was smiling. He was smiling like there was no tomorrow."
Why? Why of all living things you're the one who left? You don't know how much I miss you and mom. Why did you leave without me knowing it? Is this the reason why Aunt Alex scream and cried last night? Does anybody know this but me?
"He wants to tell this to you that no matter how hard the situation is, keep moving forward. There's no mistake in moving forward unless you did something wrong. Keep smiling and be positive while you're still here."

"Dear, I asked your uncle to study you in Teiko." My mom said as we finished organized my things in my old room.
"Teiko? Isn't that school a wealthy place?"
"Yes dear, why is there something wrong? I can still find you a school if you're uncomfortable in that school."
I thought about that for half a minute until I shook my head.
"No nothing's wrong. Tell to uncle I agree studying in Teiko."
"Ah, good good." She looked everywhere around the room without missing a spot, " Well, time to hit the hay. You've got a big day tomorrow."
"I know..."
"Sleep dreams Anate. Oyasumi."
"Oyasuminasai, okaa-san." Then she closed the lights and went out of my room.
New journey means new beginning, isn't it?
