I Was Born to Play Basketball (the beginning// KNB ff)

June 16, Wednesday (After lunch break)

"Another stacks of paper coming right up, Okari-senpai!!!" The lowerclassman said as he placed a big pile of papers in front of Kouya, who already have an nerve popped on her head.

"Why does every time Akashi had his practice, these stack of papers came out of nowhere in a wrong time." Kouya murmured as her aura darkens around her, but still working on them but a little of frustration.

At the other side of the aura, there standing Anate, who is staring at the window watching the clouds slowly moving from the sky. She then turned her head and suddenly sweat dropped because of the aura Kouya has.

"Okari-kun, can I go out for some fresh air?" Anate asked as she fixed her things that have been put inside her bag.

"I'll accept your request, but be sure to come back here before the afternoon class starts." Kouya replied, still her aura has not yet change.

Anate bowed slightly to Kouya as a thank you respect bow (or something whatsoever) and went out of the council room with her things.

Anate had finally reached to her destination, the gym. Her mind fought with her body if she can do just a little. She is a hesitant person who always her saying goes "mind over matter". But even though, watching those players of the basketball team is very hard for her to decline. When someone's playing, she will eventually join and have fun with the person. Especially to her basketball freak friends.

As she went inside the gym, Anate already readied her basketball jersey and basketball shoes as she went to the locker room for change...(which she wore back at America)

Another shot from Anate, as she pretend that her opponent is right in front of her.

"Anate fakes a little as her opponent tries to steal the ball from her." Anate said to himself, a little bit louder as she narrated herself like a real game match.

"Anate escapes her opponent's defense going on full run, but fakes again and turns around her opponent with her fast movements."

"Anate stands and shoots for three and... (Fwooosh!) Anate scores again with the total of 20 points. (Making the sound of the audience)"

This is the side where no one in Teiko saw it, her happiness and her hyper energy. It's just like what all the movies do, they have ups and downs, but never forget where you've started. And for sure, for Anate basketball is where she started.

"(Sigh!) Man, can't believe I miss those shots..." Anate said as she wiped her sweat with her towel. She took her uniform and her toiletries as she went to the back for refreshments.

"At last! I've finished the paper works." Kouya finally sighed in victory, as she slumped on the table finally relaxing at her hardwork.

The door opens as the person enters and went back to her seat. Kouya looked up to the person then raised her eyebrow as she saw the change.

"Where have you been Anate? And why does your hair looks wet and (sniffs) do I smell something sweet?" Kouya asked her.

Anate then looked up to her and went back to her novel, "It rained earlier and I went to the vending machine for some drinks so it must still smell sweet." Anate replied with her stoic expression.

Kouya looked through the window as she saw the beautiful afternoon breeze. Not even a single rain drop show. Kouya looked to Anate once again who rubs her nose checks the time, but Kouya don't have the energy to argue, for her energy have been wasted during the signing of paper works.

"I will beat you this time for sure!"

"Hah?? Are you sure about that baka kinpatsu?"

"I'm sure about that, and stop calling me baka Aho!"

"I suggest that both of you should be quiet or else I make sure that I'll stab you until we arrive there..."

They gulped, "H-hai!!"

"Both of them are so annoying until now..."

"Close your mouth when eating nanodayo."

As the rainbow gang headed inside the gym suddenly the tanned male slipped at the center of the gym, getting the attention of others.

"Hahahahaha!!! Aominecchi what happened to you hahahaha!!!"

"Stop laughing at me! And of course I slipped baka"

Akashi then saw some sweat on the floor and the ball that is under the net.

"Minna the changing room is wet and (sniff) smells like a candy..."

"Eh? Where's the candy Kise-chin?"

"It's a metaphor, Murasakibara-kun."

"UUWWAAHH!! SINCE WHEN DID YOU GET HERE KUROKOCCHI/ TETSU/ KUROKO??!!"

"I was here the whole time..."
