Prom night:
August's POV:
Tonight is the big night. Its prom night. Right now I'm making sure I look great and I'm making sure everything is in place. As I'm doing this, my mom walks in.
Sheila: You ready?
August: Yea.
Sheila: Aug when are you gonna tell her?
August: I don't know. I was thinking tonight, but she may not feel the same way.
Sheila: Stop saying that. Daisha loves you. I can see it. When yall are together she looks like the most happiest girl on earth. And you look like the most happiest boy on earth. You gotta tell her before it's too late. Lots of guys would kill to go out with the head cheerleader. So let that guy be you.
August: Iight ma.
Sheila: Now get out of here so you can go get her.
August: Iight. See you later.
Sheila: Bye have fun.
August: We will.
I left the house and went to get Daisha. I'm really nervous because I wanna tell her how I feel tonight, but I don't wanna tell her and she doesn't feel the same way. I guess I'll just have to stop thinking negative and just tell her. I pulled up to her house and got out. I went to knock on the door. A few seconds later she opened the door. She looked really beautiful.
Daisha: Hey.
August: Hey. You look beautiful.
Daisha: Thanks.
Kelly(Daisha's mom): Wait I gotta get a picture before you leave.
*They take a few pictures.*
Kelly: Okay, have fun.
Daisha: We will. Bye mom.
Kelly: Bye.
*August and Daisha leave and go to prom.*
At the prom:
*They are dancing and having fun. After a while, Daisha goes with the cheerleaders and August goes with his friends.*
Kaisha: So, are you gonna tell him?
Daisha: Tell him what?
Kayla: That you have feelings for him.
Daisha: I don't know. I don't wanna say anything and he doesn't feel the same.
Krystal: You're gonna have to tell him some day.
Daisha: I know, I just don't wanna feel stupid for having deep feelings for him and he doesn't feel the same. Y'all know me and Aug have been friends for years. I've had feelings for him for years. I'm just scared.
Destiny: Well you better grab him as fast as you can. Because if you don't tell him, somebody else will.
Daisha: Yea you're right.
August's POV:
So far everything is going good. Right now Daidai and I are with our friends. I walked towards the bathroom, but I overheard Daisha say my name. So I decided to stop and listen.
Daisha: Y'all know me and Aug have been friends for years. I've had feelings for him for years.
I walked away before she could even finish saying whatever she was gonna say next. Now I know that she does feel the same way. I'll talk to her about it later.
