Chapt 7: Got What We Wanted

Daisha's POV:

So, 2 months ago Aug and I were talking about having a baby. Well, 2 weeks after we had sex to make the baby, I found out that I am pregnant. Now I'm 2 months pregnant. I'm really excited about having a baby. My mom and Aug's mom are both excited as well. I have stopped cheering due to me being pregnant, but I'm still captain. I just run practice, teach cheers, and all that stuff. I don't cheer for games and stuff. I call out the cheers but that's it. I also still wear my sweat suit for games. We're suppose to wear our uniform, but I can't fit it now. But its okay. Anyway, right now I'm at practice with the girls. Aug isn't here right now. He went out with Kaisha's boyfriend Andrey, Destiny's boyfriend Chris, and Jasmine's boyfriend Trey.

Daisha: Okay, do the first 8 count in the dance.

*They do as told.*

Daisha: When you get to the hair flip as you walk, walk on your toes, and make sure you flip your hair. *demonstrates* make sure you put some swag and sexiness into it. Do it with an attitude as we're the baddest team with the baddest bitches on the team.

Girls: Okay.

Daisha: Do it again.

*They do the 8 count again.*

Daisha: That was better. Now, everyone have a seat. We gotta talk about competition. As y'all know, Miss Daisha Ariean Jones will not be participating due to little Aug or Daisha coming soon. So with that being said, competition is a huge deal. We have a few weeks to prepare. Y'all know we have to go against Lakeside. We also have to go against the Compton Bulldogs. They are a really tough team. They are known for being clean. They are known for having their shit together. I heard that they haven't lost a competition in the last 3 years. 3 years in a row they have won first place at competition. So we're gonna have to work hard to try to take this win this year. New cheers. New dance routines. New stunts. New everything. So you need to come to practice ready.

*The guys walk in.*

Daisha: So yea, come to practice ready to work. Like I said, we only have a few weeks to get this straight. So is everybody good with that?

Girls: Yea.

Daisha: Iight everybody up Kaisha take us out.

Kaisha: Eagles on 3. 1, 2, 3.

Girls: Eagles!!

*The girls go change.*

Daisha: *walks to August*

August: You iight?

Daisha: Yea.

August: *pulls her on his lap* what's on your mind?

Daisha: Competition. I can't perform because I'm pregnant. So of course I'm a little bummed out about that. And on top of that, new stuff has to be done to the routines and it's always nerve wrecking to go to competition. I don't want anything to go wrong.

August: Don't worry about it baby. Its gonna be iight.

Daisha: Okay.

August: Iight. I love you.

Daisha: I love you too.

August: *pecks her lips twice* you ready to go?

Daisha: Yea.

*They leave the gym and go to August's house.*
