"Liette, my love?"

"Yes, Scar?"

"Everything will be alright. Just lift your head up and keep your eyes on me for a second."

Scarlet kissed her forehead and stood her up, making sure she only looked at him. Juliette had no problem with it really. Of course she understood that someone broke through their home, but she trusted Scarlet. Plus she couldn't get enough of his crystal clear hazel eyes. She loved how they twinkled whenever he was passionate about something.

"We've come for the girl."

The guy was furious that they were lazily laying on the couch together without a care in the world. He wanted that. He wanted her. Too bad for him though because no one would take Scarlet's beloved Juliette away from him.

"You can not have her. I'm simply doing my job."

"How are you doing your job!?!"

Scarlet smiled sweetly at the man that just broke into his house. Looking down at his dearly beloved, his clear eyes burned with passion.

Juliette knew that look all too well and she felt so giddy inside.

"My love, please, embrace me." Scarlet said, holding his long arms out.

She chuckled at his wording choice but nevertheless hugged him as tight as she possibly could. He never asked for hugs or anything for that matter so this simple gesture meant so much to Juliette.

"Now tell me babe," he turned both of them around "looking at this man, would you go with him or stay with me?"

She quickly gazed at the man she didn't know and instantly grew scared. The poor girl had never seen that big of a gun in her life.

She buried her face in Scarlet's chest and whimpered. Scarlet stroked her hair lovingly.

"As you can see my good friend, my beloved is scared out of her wits and is desperately clinging to me. Why would she ever leave me?"

"Boss said you weren't doing your job and that we needed to do something about it. So give us the girl."

Scarlet smirked. Of course he was up to this break in. The guy doesn't believe he has the guts to do anything.

"Look at me my love," Scarlet cooed.

Juliette tilted her head up to look at Scarlet while he wiped away her tears.

"You know I hate it when you cry," he whispered.

Then Scarlet had an idea. Something he surely should of thought of lot sooner.

He caressed Juliette's face as he inched closer, a smirk on his face.

When he made sure his old friend was looking he kissed her right on the lips.
