"Scarlet, what are you doing here?" Juliette exclaimed.
She let her eyes travel down Scarlet's bloodied and bruised body and let out a gasp before dragging him inside to the bathroom.
Ever since Scarlet kicked her out she had to go and move back in with her parents until she could find another place to stay. She honestly got fed up with the guy, leaving her because she told him what he didn't want to hear. It didn't help that they both worked at the same place and hung out with some of the same people either. She still loved him with all of her heart though.
Juliette instructed for Scarlet to take his shirt off and he did, his eyes blazing as she checked out his toned chest.
"What even happened?" Juliette stuttered.
"I have no idea" Scarlet mumbled.
Juliette let out a tired sigh as she cleaned all of the wounds of the boy she was in love with. Now, he wasn't even a boy anymore he was simply Scarlet, the broken but strong human being that just needed a little help.
"Did you start drinking again?" Juliette asked, hoping to at least try and figure out what happened to him.
"I never stopped."
"Did you drink last night?"
"I couldn't find anything to drink."
Scarlet sucked in a breath as Juliette touched one of his wounds.
"Scar," Juliette started, "Don't freak out, but I think someone shot you."
With shaky hands, Juliette set down the rag she was holding and watched Scarlet let out shaky breaths before falling unconscious in her arms.
