We walked off to the limo with our arms linked. We reached an all black limo and Tony helped me in before sliding into the seat next to me. He reached in front of him into a mini fridge and pulled out two small bottles of vodka.'Starting early are we?' I jokingly said as he handed me the now open bottle. 'Cheers' we said in unison before we necked the miniature bottle. Throughout the journey, I would notice Tony looking over at me trying to be inconspicuous and failing terribly, so when I looked back at him, he would smirk before turning his head as if he wasn't staring in my direction whatsoever.

We soon reached the venue and Tony clambered out of the vehicle before helping me out. He placed his hand on the small of my back, smiling as we made our way towards the doors, guiding me all the way. When we reached the doors we were immediately greeted by front of house officials who led us away to a small VIP section where Tony was prepared for a speech he was due to give. Ohh boy, this is going to be one long night.

I had been sitting down at the bar for about 45 minutes before Tony came rushing over to me. 'Shit. Kyla, could you do me a small favour?'
'I suppose'
'Well, thing is I kind of forgot to prepare a speech. Any ideas or should I wing it?'
'Honestly, where would you be if your head wasn't screwed on?' I sighed, rolling my eyes. 'Begin with something like: Thank you for having me be here tonight, it's an honour to be involved in such a great cause. Then you could say what you hope your donations could do. Finish with another thank you and maybe a quote or something like that.'
'Thank you Ms Gillespie, your a life saver' he smiled as he approached the stage.

'Good evening everyone. It's a pleasure to be here and to be able to say a small speech in aid of a fantastic cause. With the help of my donations, I hope that Save the Children can help to save innocent children from the cruel environments they are brought up in by giving them the chance to have a safe place to sleep, food on a plate to eat, clothes to wear. They are the next generation and deserve a chance. Thank you once again for having me, it was an honour. Now, in the famous words of David Bowie, Let's Dance!' Tony finished, waving to the audience.

He walked triumphantly off stage as everyone applauded him before music came on again and they got back to dancing. 'Nice speech Mr.Stark.' I smiled, toasting him with my beer. 'Well, I owe a thanks to you for that last minute save.' he chuckled. 'And, seriously, just because we are at a formal event doesn't mean you need to refer to me as Mr. In all honesty, I would rather you call me Tony.'
'Sorry Tony.'
'And stop apologising'
'Sor-' I began before he placed a finger to my lips.
'Honestly, what am I going to do with you?' he laughed before grabbing my hand and leading me onto the dance floor as a slow song began to play.

'Tony, why are we here?'
'To cook créame brûlée. What do you think?'
'Not in that way. I can't dance.' I whispered turning to walk away.
'Follow my lead' Tony replied, gripping onto my wrist, turning me round. He pulled me closer and whispered in my ear.'Trust me Kyla, I'm a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.'
'I know, that's the problem. Damn you Tony.' I mumbled under my breath.

He placed a hand on my waist and the other in my hand. I mirrored what he had done, as I looked up at him for conformation that I had done it right, I was met with him with the dirtiest of smirks playing on his lips. He began to slowly move in time with the music, going forwards then to the left, back to centre then to the right and back again to repeat the process. This whole time my eyes were fixed on my shoes which had suddenly become so interesting.

'Who would have thought, the Tony Stark, could dance?' I chuckled to myself.
'Honey, it's not all just good looks and charm you know.' he responded.
'I can see that now.' I began 'Thank you for bringing me here tonight.'
'No problem m'lady. You enjoying it?'
'Yes I am. Although I have to say big events and parties have never been my strong point.'
'I'm glad you are enjoying it, if you need to I can have Happy drive us back.'
'No,no. It's fine.'
'Splendid' he smirked as he dipped as the song ended. He was looking intently into my eyes before smirking once more and lifting me up.
