The Kiss

So, today marks 1 month since Tony and I started dating exactly. News travels fast in this tower and obviously Tony is far from shy when it comes to the press so pretty much everyone knew. Like I said he wasn't scared to say it, nor is he to show it. Every chance he gets when he's not working away he's out with me, wether it's going shopping for no reason whatsoever or if it's just going out to clear our heads, he'll be hugging me, holding my hand or the occasional kiss on the cheek.

So, basically if you'll allow me, I shall give you the run down. I know one month isn't particularly special but to me it is as I have managed to have, a so far successful relationship. As for Tony we all know the reputation he carries, the max his relationships have lasted is a week, pushing it 9 days, so as far as I was concerned he was some what serious about this. I say some what serious because although we are a couple and act like one, with movie dates and the occasional dinner or two, we have yet to kiss.

I had just finished my write up on an experiment I was conducting and decided I should go and give Tony his present, it was nothing special more of a joke really since we agreed on no presents, well Tony said not to. Anyway, I had got us matching shirts, his read "If found, please return to Kyla" which meant mine said "I'm Kyla". Aren't I kind? It was mostly for the nights we would go out or if there was a party, he always got lost so it makes things easier for everyone.

I punched in the code to Tony's lab and opened the door as silently as possible. I poked my head over one of his work desks and saw him dancing while working on one of his suits with AC/DC on. I slowly and stealthily approached him from behind, I was ready to pounce and tap him on the shoulder when he dropped what he was doing and chuckled. 'Happy 1 month anniversary' he said as he turned and pulled me into his chest. 'Ditto' I laughed, hugging him back 'How did you know I was here?'
'Jarvis told me, I asked where you were and he said walking through the door.'
'Ohh. Anyway, I know we agreed on no gifts but I got something for you, it's more of a joke really.' I handed him the shirt and showed him my half of it.
'You're funny, you know that.' he smirked.

'Now for your present. I guess we both broke the deal' he announced as he produced a box from his cabinet. 'Go ahead, open it' I took the box and opened it up to see a glowing blue light under some tissue paper. I moved the paper aside and saw a small arc reactor attached to a chain. 'Oh my god, Tony this is beautiful.' I gasped.
'I know, I know you love my one and I thought maybe you could have one to have a small part of me with you when I have to leave to work.' he stated. 'I also have this additional present.'

He pulled another box from his pocket and opened it to show me a gorgeous sapphire bracelet. '... I don't know what to say. We agreed on nothing.'
'I know but I couldn't resist. Let me put it on for you.' He placed it on my wrist and linked it together. 'It's truly beautiful.'
'Only the best for you.' he winked holding my hand 'I told you I was serious about this'
'I know...' I began
'But...' he waited tapping his foot
'A girl has to be cautious.' I teased as he lifted me onto his desk.
'Of course you do' he sighed, looking me dead in the eye. In the moment, it was just me and him. He stood in between my legs and pulled me close.

There wasn't that much of a difference between us in hight when I was standing but I was now near enough level with him sitting on the work bench. He placed his hands on my hips as mine came up and wrapped around him neck. He licked his lips as we maintained eye contact, so me being me made matters by biting my lip, a trait of mine that he told me turns him on. I could see the look in his eyes as they burned, showing his self control slowly slipping away.

He leaned in and captured my lips with his. Our lips connected and I felt him smile against mine as he kissed me, leaving me with butterflies. His grip on my hips tightened as I reached up and grabbed a fist full of his brown hair, tugging on it as he ran his tongue over my bottom lip, begging to take it further. I was hesitant at first to give him access, but I thought since this was my first, go big or go home, right? I gave him the access he so desperately wanted, of course Tony didn't get right into it since I was still a little uncomfortable.

Slowly, we pulled away, Tony leaving small kisses on my lips. 'So...' he whispered, putting our foreheads together, 'How was that for a first kiss on our 1 month anniversary? Was it too much, too far?'
'It was everything I expected and more' I mumbled as I rested my head on his chest, tracing my finger round the outermost part of his reactor. 'I'm glad that's the case. Oh and believe me darling, there's plenty more where that came from.' he winked suggestively as he moved back. 'Dork' I huffed
'Now, are you calling me an idiot or a d-'
'You know what I meant.' I interjected.

So, yeah. My first kiss was with Tony in his lab. This became a common place for us to act like a couple. Typically since he was constantly bogged down in work. Whether he was working or if he was just stressed I'd often find myself with him, I would approach him and hug him or kiss his cheek to distract him from work just so he would take a break.
