Kevin and I bet on what their first words would be. I said it'd be either mom or dad. He said it would be something like no or the dog's name, Chico. While we got ready for church I asked Mia to get me her shoes.
"Mia ve a pedirle a tu papi tus zapatos." She walked to his father.
"Ah ahpat choo no." She said.
"Que?" Kevin asked.
"Mia, dile, Kevin quiero mis zapatos!" I joke.
"Evi! Evi! Papotos." I cracked up to her attempt at saying Kevin and tugging Kevin's pants.
"Como me llamo Mia?" Kevin acted serious.
"Evin? Evi papotos!" Mia demanded. Kevin gave her shoes laughing and then helped her put them on. Asher's first word was yummy. After churh we went to lunch and I fed Asher some rice.
"Mmmm!" I say.
"Ma ma! Yamy!" He said.
"Mmm yummy." I smiled at him.
"Te gusta Asher?" Kevin asked as Asher shook his head meaning "yes".
