Dylan POV
This rusty old red car drove up. A beautiful girl came out and yelled how the car was a piece of crap.
"Hey dad." All the men looked an pointed to themselves except Rob.
Apparently that was his daughter. But seriously how do you get her from Rob...no offense.
He goes up to her and hugs her.
She was sort of yelling at him, and went to open her piece of crap car that was smoking.
The wind blew her hair and the bottom of her shirt up.
I saw Andre and Greg staring at her dreamily. And I couldn't help but feel a burning in the pit of my stomach when I saw Greg looking at her the way he was. I didn't know what it meant or how I was suppose to take it. But I just shrugged it away.
*****
All the dad's, beside Rob, were looking at her butt.
My dad's gross.
But quickly turned when the wind blew when Gloria got there.
******
Later that day, everyone heard screaming outside. We got out there and seen Rob have an arrow in his foot.
I ran inside and got the first aid kit.
Rob was screaming at Gloria when I got back out there.
"Here's the first aid kit." I said handing it to one of them.
Turns out Rob as two more daughters, Amber and Bridget. Amber, like Jasmin, is gorgeous. Bridget has more of her father's looks. Not that its a bad thing. I have my dad's look. You know, but with no facial hair and more feminine. I have my short blonde hair that reaches the top of my shoulders and blue eyes.
********
Becky ran into the room crying. She ran to me and hugged me.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Theirs no tooth fairy. Mommy put to dollar under the pillows."
"Hey. Listen. Sometimes mommies and daddies are the tooth fairy's helpers. They put the dollar their and save the tooth for the tooth fairy when she can't make it."
"Really?"
"Really! Now let's do something fun."
"What?"
"Go tell everyone were making paper cup phones."
She went and told all the kids. I got everything ready as they started to run in.
"Okay let's get started!"
***
"Can you hear me now?" Greg's asked through the cup.
My cup was attached to Greg's and he had another one attached to Andre's, who was in the tub in the bathroom.
Bean was in a chest. And everyone else were scattered around.
"Yes, I can hear you." I said.
"Good. I wanted to tell you, you look really pretty today."
I looked at him and smiled. This might actually be the first time he wasn't full of himself.
"Thank you."
"Hey! Didn't I say no cell phones? I thought we had a deal!" Mr. Feder yelled before opening the door to see all of us hanging around.
Everyone got quiet.
"Sup dad." Greg said.
"Are those cup phones?"
"Yeah, Dylan taught us. Isn't it cool? Check out Becky's." Keithie said.
****
We eventually all put cup phones in the adults bedrooms. Greg and I put one with my dad's and one with his parents.
Today has been pretty fun.
