Dylan POV
Greg and I haven't talked since the kissing on the lips thing. I'm not upset, in fact I've been thinking about it a lot. And actually the more I think about it the more I want to do it again.
I just don't want a serious thing because we're both so young and we're about to leave. He's going back to Hollywood, where he'll have all these girls hanging on to him and little old me with be here, doing nothing.
This morning we put the flag up and the bird go free.
The women are in the kitchen making costumes for the basketball game that was suppose to be going on. And the men are on the deck, except my dad.
He's walking out of the closet because apparently he fell asleep in it.
I was getting out advil and some water for his hangover. My dad getting drunk and having a hangover is nothing new. I'm fact, if you come to our house, beer bottles are everywhere.
I gave the advil and water to him and went outside to the other kids.
I saw my dad come out and go to the boys, but soon saw him running from Rob. I can hear screaming and yelling. I run after him like everyone else.
Rob kicks my dad in his 'no no square' and hurt his bad leg in the process. Something about shaking the bed with Jasmin.
Then he kicked him again because Amber. Then Bridget came up.
"Well then he's off the hook. You know Marcus wouldn't be with you daughter. No that she's...you know what I'm saying." Mr. Feder said.
"Well what happen to your head?" Rob asked Jasmin.
"When I was changing into my PJs. I got this feeling that some perv was looking through my window, so I went to go close the shade, and I tripped and hit my head."
I could see Greg and Andre slowly hide away. I knew it was them just by the way they were acting. Greg caught my eye but I shook my head and turned back to the conversation.
"Yeah. You know I would never do that. That's your daughter. I wouldn't be with her, your mu best friend. And Jasmin would never be with me because I'm me. Look, sorry I don't have my whole life together like Lenny." My dad said.
I go over to him and hug him. I put my face in his chest and he sighs and runs his hand through my hair.
"Oh. Together like Lenny, " Mrs. Feder said, "Please. I answered your phone. It was your assistant, I asked him if he canceled the flight to Milan and he said he did, BEFORE WE EVEN CAME HERE!"
"He said that? Why would he say that? I mean-"
"Oh, so he just made that up huh?"
"I'm not saying he made it up. I think in his head he believes its true."
"Don't you agent me Lenny! Stop trying to handle everybody and everything and start taking a little responsibility for once."
"I'll take responsibility. Okay, you're right. I thought it would be better for our family to be here with normal people instead of going to Milan."
"We're normal?" I hears Mrs. McKenzie ask.
"I was scared to tell you. It was easier for me to keep it a secret."
After that I just decided to leave. No one would notice anyway.

I was in the room now. I was looking out the window at the lake. I would only be here for a another day or so.
"Hey."
I turn and seen my dad leaning against the door.
"Hey."
"What's wrong?"
He comes and sits next to me.
"Nothing." It was silent until I asked the question I've been wondering for a while, "Dad, how do you know when you like someone?"
"Why? Do you like someone?"
"I don't know. If I knew the definition of liking someone then I would know."
"Uh, liking someone is when you have these feelings in your tummy. And you look at them and your heart starts beating really fast. Or at least I think that's how you know."
"I think I like Greg, dad." I told him turning and looking at him. He turned to me and gave me a small smile.
"I know."
