Amy's POV

I woke up in a room that wasn't mine, it was way too fancy for me. I looked around for someone hoping I wasn't kidnapped or raped or something. As I turned around, I saw Austin sleeping in a chair next to the bed. I was in Austin's house after yesterday. It was probably 2 am when I woke up so I decided to wrap a blanket around Austin to keep him warm. I mean I was in his house so I might as well be nice. I smiled after seeing him relax under the blanket that I even went back to the bed staring at his face. Gosh he was so breathtaking. Wait what the fuck is going on in my brain! I smacked my head and fell back asleep only to wake up a couple hours later.

"Good morning loser." I yawned and stretched my arms out.

"Yeah yeah whatever. There's a hairbrush and a new toothbrush in the bathroom. Go wash up so we can eat some breakfast."

I fixed myself up and walked to the kitchen only to find Austin cooking some food. It smelled reeeaaaaally good. I sat in a chair and waited to be served. He served me a plate of pancakes and eggs. Who knew that Austin was actually good at something besides being a pain in the ass?

We ate in silence and it was quite nice. Austin was being weirdly sweet. We hurried and went to school together. Today was finally Friday, a day where I can binge watch all my shows in my room for two and a half days straight.

As soon as we got into Mrs. Melroy's class it all went downhill.

"Alright class for this assignment you're going to evaluate you're project partner's skills on being a husband or wife. For this Memorial Day Weekend, you'll have to sleep over at your husband's place girls. Your parents have approved of this part of the assignment as long as you don't have sex with each other. Oh, Amy and Austin, you'll have to take Kian home for a day at least." Everyone nodded their head and I sighed. A weekend with Austin was going to ruin my plans to watch my shit.

School kinda just passed by and I packed a bag of clothes and necessary items for my stay at Austin's house. Besides my mom giving me the talk every five minutes even after I explained that I hated Austin, everything was actually going fine. I arrived at his house, met his family, and Kian was actually having fun.

It didn't hit me until later on that Austin and I would probably have to share a bed considering that Kian was going to sleep in the guest room. I had explained countless times to Austin's parents that I was fine with sleeping on the couch but they didn't have any of it. By the time it was night, I was too tired to give a shit and so I let Austin sleep in the same bed as me.

Somewhere between four a.m. and six a.m. I woke up only to feel Austin's arms around me. A girl could get used to this.

Sleep soon took over my entire body and when it was actually time to wake up, I woke up to food in the kitchen cooked by Austin. Kian was eating food and he smiled at me. I truly felt like a mom in that moment.

I smiled back and sat on a chair next to Kian. Austin heard me sitting and he turned to smile at me. His smile was warm and so kind, I swear I could kiss him in that moment. Thoughts flooded my head and before I could stop myself from making a huge mistake, I did one thing that changed my life forever.

I kissed Austin Carter Mahone.
