Chapter 4: Fire And Ice

I was fast asleep when the phone rang. I groan and then get my phone and awnser the call,not bothering to see who called.
"Hello?" I say sleepy.
"Hey (Y/n),"Joe said on the phone,"Snart is trying to set a trap for your bother he plans to hurt him. Please tell me where I can find Snart. "
I sat up in my bed and said, "No I won't Joe. Barry can handle it himself. I won't rat Snart out!"
"Why not he is a threat to your brother."
"...I have my reasons."
"You like him don't you,more then a friend or whatever you want to say. You can try to deny it all you want but you can't fool me."
"You don't understand!" I yelled and hung up throwing the phone into the darkness of the room, hearing it hit hard. I lay back down and close my eyes slowly falling back to sleep.
~Time Skip~
I slowly woke up and got up looking for my phone. I found it,very cracked and bad. I sigh and look away for a moment,and touch my neckless I still have on that Leonard gave me. I should help them...But Snart he seems different around me. I love him though. Wait what love?! I love him...I shook my head and looked away from the neckless, I walk to the bathroom and slip my cloths off and get in the shower. I get out and dressed then getting a text from Irist.
Surprisingly it is still working! I yell happy in my mind. I read the text.
'Hey (Y/n) I was wondering if you could come over and help me pack?'
'Sure I'll be there in a little.' I responded back and walk out of the apartment.
~Time Skip~
I get off my bike and walk into the house to see Irist and Joe.
"Thanks for helping (Y/n). Always know you'll help us no matter what!" Joe said with a smile and I knew exactly why he said that. I sighed knowing his mad at me for choosing Leonard over my family. I smile and say,"I only wanna do what is best."
Irist glanced at me and Joe.
"What's going on? You two are mad at each other?"
"No we aren't." Joe said.
"Ok then...Dad can you go finish packing up the boxes up stairs and then bring them down here?" Irist asks and Joe nods and leaves to go up stairs. She then looked at me with a look she always gave when she was determined to find out something. I sighed and started to help her pack.
"So what is going on with you and Dad?"
"...He dont like a guy I do." I admit to her. She looks at me for a moment and saw I had the neckless on,I put it on before I left,and sighed.
"The Leo guy right?"
"Yeah...I do admit he isn't the best. He is well a bad boy."
"Oh,I guess that is one reason. Unlike Eddy, right."
"Yeah not even like Eddy. Nothing not one single thing!" I whispered yell so Joe wouldn't hear.
"I'm sure it will work out soon, (Y/n)." Irist smiled.
"Yeah I guess..." I mumbled as we continued to pack.
~Time Skip~
I arrive at S.TA.R. Labs to see Cisco carrying covered equipment out. I get off and walk to him with a smile.
"Hey Cisco need a hand?"
"Sure,Thanks (Y/n)!" I nodded and carried the equipment to the truck.
"What is it?" I asked.
"A way to stop Captain Cold." Dr.Wells said,as he rolled out of the building. I looked at him and then Cisco.
"Your not gonna hurt him are you?" I asked.
"We are taking him down he is a danger." Cisco said.
"Answer the damn question are you gonna hurt him?!" I yelled this time, getting mad.
"Not unless we have to. Then we turn him over to the police,(Y/n), he is a bad man. Joe and the-"
"My dad asked you to do this? Isn't Barry gonna stop him?" I interrupted him.
"No he needs to be preparing to stop The Reverse Flash and not waste time one a man like Snart." Dr.Wells said.
"I won't let you hurt Leonard! You or my dad."
"What about Barry?!" Cisco yelled shocked I'd want to protect Leonard more then my brother.
"I won't let Leonard hurt Barry!" I yelled back at him and growled. Dr.Wells looked at me for a moment.
"You are getting to close to Snart. It isn't good."
"Shut up Dr.Wells. I'm going to see Joe." I said and got onto my bike as they got into the truck and drove to the police department. I got out and walked in and looked for Joe. I found him and took a deep breath to calm down before talking to him.
"D-dad...we need to talk." I said as I walked up to him.
"What is it?"
"I-I can't...let you hurt Leonard."
"He will kill others (Y/n)! Including your bother!" He whisper yelled.
"I know but let my talk to him. I can convince him maybe give me a chance! "
"No I won't let you get hurt! Not a chance in hell, (Y/n). You,Barry,Irist are to important to me ,I can't see you get hurt or even killed by Snart! I won't stand for it! I can't let him get away!" He sighed and looks down at me.
"I can't let you and Barry get hurt again. I thought I was gonna loose you when the blast hit. I was so afraid I lost you both and I have felled even more then I had at being a father!" I hugged him tightly and smiled.
"Your not a bad dad...You took me and Barry both in. Now your helping us trying to free our dad in prison. Even though he is our biological dad...your our real dad Joe and always will be." I smiled and pulled back as Cisco and Dr.Wells rounded up the police officers to demonstrate how they will stop Leonard.
~Time Skip~
I ran into the police office after hearing they got hurt. I looked for Joe and ran to him. I hugged him tightly.
"Dad what the hell happened?!" I asked.
"I'd like to know too" Barry added as he walked up behind me.
"Snart had another guy with him. He had a hand held flame thrower that looked like Snart's freeze gun. Most of us was treated at the scene but two are bad...very bad." Joe said. I looked away and turned my hand into a fist and I started to cry slightly.
"This is my fault. I could have prevented this! All of it! I'm such an idiot! I could have saved the people who got hurt! I can't belive I thought I could change Leonard!" I lean against the wall and cry more,mad ,sad, full of rage.
"Barry you make Snart regreat ever messing with us!" Joe yells and hugged me tightly to try and calm me down.
~Time Skip~
It was then the next day after what happened with the police and I was at home. Then suddenly I saw Leonard come one. With a man in the back ground. He was holding a woman. My eyes widen in shock as to who I saw it was,Caitlin. He was demanding The Flash, and gave where he was right away. I felt myself tear up and I punched the wall hard making it crack. I was such an idiot. Now Caitlin is endanger because of me.
I arrived at the Police station when I heard they got Heatwave, Leonard's partner,and Captain Cold. I stand with Joe and Barry as I see them walk in. Heatwave, or real name Mick, walks I'm thrashing around, a literal hot head. While I see Leonard walk in calm as ever, I look down not even able to see him. As Mick walks further to us he growls goes to hit Joe,but not thinking I punch him and he almost falls to the floor. The other cops restrain him,and while the rest of them keeps clapping and others in shock I punched him that hard,but them knowing I was raised by Joe they think I'm just that tuff. Then Leonard looks at me then up at Joe.
"Your partner is a hot head." Joe says.
"Very funny," Leonard says and then looks at me as I finally am able to look at him and he continues, "Nice neckless love the wolves."
I go to say something back but it's hard to make out words as I tear up some.
"Y-Yeah. I like them too." I manage to say.
"Thake him away!" Joe says and they do as they are told. I looks at Joe who hugs my tightly.
"Wanna go to the Cafa and talk?" He asks,and I respond with a nod.
