Chapter 19- Run

Harry took a step closer to me “I-I… well she k-kissed me first” Harry said looking at his shoes and I stared at him in disbelief, “what h-happened exactly?” I asked and Harry’s green eyes met my blue ones.

“She was standing in the second dining room, I walked past and saw her and so I went in and asked what she was doing, she said something that I couldn’t hear and before I knew it she had jumped on me, she pushed my back against the wall and kissed me forcefully” Harry explained and I nodded taking it all in,

“d-did you push her away?” I asked hoping he had and Harry just looked back at his shoes “no… I-I didn’t” he mumbled and felt a tear roll down my cheek.

I never understood why people got so upset about these things, I was always going to forgive the other person, but now that it has actually happened I felt like… like someone had ripped something out of me.

I knew that Harry was sorry I could see it in his eyes, and hear it in his voice. “I knew she would try something like this” I mumbled to Kym and she just nodded, I looked up at Harry and I could see his lip trembling.

My mind was screaming at me to hold him, tell him it will all be okay “I-I…I’m not completely angry at you…I just…need a moment” I breathed trying to hold back the tears and my body being completely stubborn,

disobeyed my mind and I did the worst possible thing I could ever do.

 I ran.

I was half way down the street, my vision blurred with the tears that were escaping from my eyes, “what have I done, he’s going to think I hate him” I sobbed and kept running. It took me until the end of the street to notice the weather, “oh shit” I gasped as I dodged a huge branch that was thrown across by the forceful wind. Why the hell did I run out here!?

I wasn’t caught in the middle of the cyclone as that was way over the other side of the Caribbean and further, but even though it was only the outlining, the winds were still strong enough to not only knock me down but to be throwing big, thick branches and various other things around.

I kept running to find shelter but as I attempted to dodge another branch it knocked me to my feet, I got up and began to run again before I slipped on some wet gravel. I rolled down the hill and tried to stop myself before reaching the sea of the beach; I failed and slammed right into some rocks. I felt a shooting pain in my forehead before I was enveloped in darkness.

*Harry’s P.O.V*

I watched as Alex ran out of the room, I just stood there staring blankly at the doorway; I blinked a couple of times before turning to Kym. I opened my mouth to say something but no words came out “Harry…” Kym trailed as she looked down.

I closed my mouth and went to walk out of the room, just as I went to turn my head I looked out the window, my eyes widened at what I saw. “Harry what’s wrong?” Kym asked warily, I just looked at her and ran out of the room, I ran as fast as I could nearly knocking into Zayn “woah Harry, calm down mate” he called but all I did was run out the front door.

“ALEX!!!” I screamed through the rain, but my voice was muffled by the wind, I began to run down the path and as I did one of the recycling bins was thrown directly at me. “That was close” I breathed as I just managed to dodge it,

I began running everywhere slipping every time there was a turn as there was water all over the ground.  “ALEX!!!” I screamed again but all that I could hear was the wind and the rain, I began to walk along the grass above the beach, I looked around frantically.

My hand ran through my hair and just as I was about to continue my search, something wait no, someone came into my vision. There along the rocks I faintly saw the outline of a body, my heart beat sped up and my breathing began to increase,

I slowly made my way towards the rocks. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Alex lying unconscious with blood dripping from her head “no, NO!!” I screamed and knelt down next to her. I put my ear to her mouth to check if she was breathing “thank god” I let out and carefully picked up her frail body.
