Chapter 19 < Raging Bull >

Techna's POV

Once we got to the textile shop, we decided it would be best if we just hid near the shop

So that the the killer doesn't notice us watching.

So right now we were at the shirne waiting for the killer.

But a few minutes have passed and still nothing happened.

"Ugh how long is the killer gonna show up." I complain while sitting on one of the step of the shrine.

"We don't know for sure if the killer's gonna show up so all we do now is wait and see what happens." Yu said.

'Well that makes me feel a whole lot better.' I said inside my head while rolling my eyes.

"Anyways guys I'm gonna head for the vending machine anything you want?" I ask while getting up.

"I'll have a bottle of water please." Yukiko said.

"Me too." Yu said.

"Alright then I'm off." I said and walked over to the vending machines nearby.

Let's see what's on the menu.

Hmm Water, No

Juice, No

Cola, No

Aha! Iced Coffee!

Nowadays Iced coffee is rarely sold in vending machines so it's rather hard to come by.

I place 500 in the vending machine and it gives me my yummy iced coffee.

Afterwards I placed the right amount for two bottle waters and the machine hands them out.

"Now back to the shrine I go." I said and ran with the drinks in hand.

Once I did I noticed that Yukiko was blushing and Yu was looking away.

Pupupu~~

I sense something happened!

I made my way to them and handed them their drinks.

"So anything yet?" I ask.

"Nope nothing from those two yet." Yu said and drank his water.

"I hope they didn't get caught..." Yukiko said worringly.

"Oh I wouldn't worry about those two, If I know them they would have made the split already." I said and opened my Iced Coffee.

But as I was just about to take a sip there was screaming.

"Huh? What the--" I said but I was cut off by Yosuke and Chie screaming and running.

"We're sorry but we brought trouble!" Yosuke said screaming

"Yukiko I'm sorry!" Chie said screaming

"Wait trouble?" I look behind them and saw a raging Kanji behind them.

"We should run." Yu said and Yukiko nods nervous.

"Well you guys go ahead I'm still going to enjoy this." I said and was about to take a sip once more but it was cut short when Yukiko grabs my hands and drags me away.

"Really?!" I said a bit pissed.

"Sorry but if you don't want to get beaten up by a raging bull then I suggest you run!" Yukiko explained while running.

I look behind me and she was right, Kanji was a raging bull.

"I said to wait Damn it!" Kanji screams.

"If we wanted to die then we would!" I shout at him.

"Techna not the best time to taunt someone!" Yosuke shouts ahead of me.

"You are dead! You all are so freaking dead!" Kanji shouts gaining his speed.

"Oops." I said and ran faster and began running ahead of Yukiko.

"Man he's going to get us all at this rate." Yosuke said.

"I know!" Chie said like an light bulb just glowed on her head.

"What is it?" Yu asks.

"Techna how about you shake them off our tail." Chie suggests.

"Hey wait why me?!" I scream

"Yeah why her Chie?!" Yosuke screams.

"You're half cat remember so you should have the power to beat that guy up since you're half human half beast!" Chie screams.

"Yeah but she isn't right now is she." Yosuke said pointing to my head which has no cat ears.

"Yeah but can't she just like transform?" Chie asks.

"Yeah but that is still out of the question no transforming got it!" Yosuke said looking at me while I nod.

Okay that kinda caught me off guard but nonetheless I'm flattered that Yosuke was worried about me.

And with that said I feel a bit of heat on my face again.

"I said to stop running damn it!" Kanji screams still on our tail until.

"What the hell?" Kanji said as what appears to be an girl on a delivery bike.

"I've got your order here." The girl on the bike said.

"HUH?!" Yosuke exclaims as the girl drives beside her but immediately moves beside Chie.

"Wait how the hell did she find us? We were nowhere close to where she ordered." Yosuke said.

"Your total is ¥1600." The girl said as she took out some bowls from a compartment on her bike.

"That is weird but cool." I said while Yu nods in agreement.

"Sorry but do you have any change." Chie asks as she digs through her pockets.

"You're really going to do this?!" Yosuke shouts.

"Chie here's a ¥100." Yukiko said calmly.

"Save it for later!" Yosuke shouts.

"Oh and when you're done just leave the bowls." The girl said and rides away.

"And how the hell are we supposed to do that?" I ask.

"Beats me." Yu said.

After a while of running we finally lost Kanji and stopped under a tunnel and out of breath.

" *pant* We finally *pant* ditched that *pant* guy *pant*" Yosuke said.

"Chie *pant* is it good?" Yukiko ask.

"Yeah *pant* yeah it is, in fact it's delicious!" Chie said becoming all flowery.

"Man we this sucks, we totally failed on our first mission, we might as well give up." Yosuke said and was bout to walk away.

"But what about Kanji?" I ask.

"That guy's going to be fine on his own, he won't let anyone take him down without a fight." Yosuke said.

"But still, I think we should keep an eye on him for good measure." Yu suggests.

"Yeah sure but we are done for today." Yosuke said and walks away leaving us behind.

"Uh guys where do I leave the bowls?" Chie asks.

"Just ditch them there and let the girl find them, that's what she's good at." I said

and walked out of the tunnel with Yu and Yukiko following me.
