Chapter 22 < Head Start >

Techna's POV

A few minutes after I arrived,

The two idiots I left were now done.

"Hey Techna that was mean~~" Yosuke said as he sat down next to me.

"And what exactly did I do?"

"You left me behind with an idiot that takes an army to control." Yosuke said.

And suddenly a shoe came flying and hit Yosuke directly at the head.

"I heard that you dumbass!" Chie said fuming with rage.

"Great at least you heard me." Yosuke said and threw Chie's shoe back.

"Tch damn can that pig throw." Yosuke said while rubbing his head.

"That's what you get when you cross Chie."

"Oh hey Yukiko." I said to the newly arrived Yukiko.

"Good morning." Yukiko said while taking her seat.

"Morning." Me, Yosuke and Chie said.

"So what did I miss?" Yukiko asks.

"Oh you do not want to know." I said while placing my hand under my chin.

"Did they get into another fight." Yukiko said while looking at the now glaring Chie and Yosuke.

"Yep." I said.

*Ding*

*Dong*

*Ding*

*Dong*

After the bell Yu suddenly arrives,

Out of breath and almost out of luck.

Oh well time to start another lesson about something we already know.

Yosuke's POV

After a few classes it was already lunch time.

I look over at Techna and noticed that she was packing up.

"Uh where you going Techna?" I ask.

"O-Oh I'm gonna have to take off early I kinda got something to take care of for a bit." Techna said and left without even wait for a response.

"Okay then..."

"Yo Yosuke."

"Oh Hey Narukami what's up?"

"What happened to Techna?"

"Oh she said she got something to take care of first." I said.

"Oh don't sound so gloomy Yosuke besides I reckon we'll see her after class anyways." Narukami said.

"Yeah you're right also--"

"I DID NOT SOUND GLOOMY!" I screamed at him.

"Geez no need to make my eardrums bleed sheesh." Narukami said while covering his ears.

"You deserved that you know." I said.

"Ooohh defensive are we?" Narukami said smirking.

"Shut up." I said and playfully punched his arm.

"Come on let's get some lunch first and worry about other stuff later." Narukami said.

"Yeah good idea." I said getting up from my desk and heading for the school store with Narukami.

Techna's POV

*sigh*

I got away safe and sound...

"Now then I might as well get a head start." I said and made my way to Junes.

I know I should have waited for them but I can't stand school for another second knowing that a human's back inside shadow territory!

And I also want to get a head start on kicking some shadow butt.

When I got to the Junes appliance section,

I looked around and hurriedly jumped inside the T.V

And the usual thing happens swirls and dizziness hitting me.

And once I reached the end I am sent flying and land on the ground face first.

"Ugh Note to self prepare a pillow on this very spot."

"Techna!" I look up from the ground and saw Teddie.

"Hey Teddie." I said sitting up.

"You okay? You seem tired." Teddie said.

"Yeah well I guess landing face first isn't tiring enough." I said.

"Well maybe next time you should place something soft there."

"I already planned that." I said.

"Anyways have you sensed another human here?" I ask.

"Actually I have but the problem is I just can't seem to pinpoint his exact location." Teddie said sadly.

"Why can't you?" I ask.

"Well with everything that's going on I'm starting to get confused and my mind's getting all fogged up."

"Ooohh Teddie." I said walking closer to him and with the look on his face I can tell his wants a pet.

And a pet he shall get.

*BAM*

"Ow!" Teddie said while holding his head.

"You do know Teddie that your plan to make me believe that your a victim was a fail right." I said while glaring at the
un-innocent bear in front of me.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" Teddie said while getting on his knees.

" *sigh* It's fine just don't try anything again got it?" I said.

"Yes mam!" Teddie said standing erect and doing a small salute.

"Now then are you sure you can't get anything from Kanji?" I ask.

"If that's the new human's name then yes, but if I got something of his then I just might be able to track him down since we all have our own scents right." Teddie said.

"So all you need is something from Kanji?" I said and Teddie nods.

"Well thanks Teddie I got it." I said and was about to jump back in the T.V when Teddie stops me.

"W-Where are you going?" Teddie said acting all cute.

"Sorry Teddie, I just got to get something and I'll be back, Okay." I said smiling.

"Okay..." Teddie said sadly and slowly letting go of me.

But before I leave I give Teddie a small pet, this time a real pet.

"See ya later Teddie." I said and with that I head back to Inaba.
