A witch on someone else's fairytale

Once upon a time,
Isn't it where it all began?
A story of love, trials, of hoping then haunted then hoping again...
A prince and a princess fell inlove,
A princess married her prince charming...
The frog turned into a prince...

A once upon a time and a happily ever after.
Maybe it'll be your story line
But I guess it will never be mine...

Coz' I will always be at the side lines
Just watching as your love story unfolds right before my eyes.

I will try to stop you, I will try to enchant you.
Distracting you of your path,
Distracting you with my wrath.

I will try to deceive you,
That I'm the real princess for you...
But isn't that what my exact role is?
I will never be your princess? No! I know I will never be...
Coz I'm the witch in this story, the witch everyone hates and no one ever wanted to be like me.

I'm the witch who tried to steal the prince away,
I'm the witch who lure you into the darkness,
Feeding you with my illusions, hoping you will always be at my grace.
I'm the witch who gave the poisoned apple,
stole Cinderellas's precious shoe, Cursed the whole kingdom,
Put sleeping beauty in decades of slumber, turned the prince into a frog
Even bake the bloody sugar/ cake house whatever you wanna call it.
Coz whatever I did I'm still the witch that everyone hates
And there isn't anything I wouldn't do just to stall her from having you.

But have anyone ever think of it?
That this witch! This god forsaken witch that people hates so much they are already skinning her in their minds,
That this witch is also longing, hurting, wanting and waiting.... Waiting for Prince Charming...HER Prince Charming to arrive and take her away from the darkness she enveloped herself in.
THAT THIS WITCH IS ALSO WAITING FOR HER OWN FAIRYTALE TO HAPPEN.
